It makes taking the moral high ground easier. Also I have to ask, why is it whenever LGBT things are advertised or whatever it’s immediately equated to sex?

I tried that, you said it was demeaning so I guess we will never know.Try replying like an adult.
Because it was. You didn't respond to anything we said, just got a nasty attitude and said "boo". That's not how you have a discussion.I tried that, you said it was demeaning so I guess we will never know.
True but we all eat and excrete from birth, but none of us worry about sex from birth.Kids actually think more about such things than you imagine.
I wonder why sex scares the bejeebers out of so many people -- it's no less natural than eating or excreting.
Oh. Why is that the moral high ground? Unless one is a nun or somethingIt makes taking the moral high ground easier.
Why?Exactly. This is dumb.
That is why it is marketed as an 18+ set. This set is designed for adults to purchase during pride month.Play with Legos if you want but this is more about adults than kids.
They aren't because it isn't marketed for them. If a parent is going to push anything, I highly doubt they were waiting for a Lego set to be the catalyst. They need to stop pushing this stuff on preschool and elementary school kids.
You don't get to dictate how others raise their kids, you aren't that important.Parents need to stop pushing it on their kids, too.
Good for you?As for myself, I don't even own a rainbow flag anymore. I had those sorts of flags up for years.
It creates a position of purity that opponents to such things love to take. It makes them feel better.Oh. Why is that the moral high ground? Unless one is a nun or something
Not quite true, actually. Ultra sound has shown fetuses manipulating their own genitals in utero, and every parent knows (whether they admit it or not), that their youngsters do take an interest.True but we all eat and excrete from birth, but none of us worry about sex from birth.
I replied like that because Legos are toys associated with kids. You didn't mention it was a set for adults. It took @The Hammer to inform of us of that. You could've just mentioned that in reply to us instead of getting all rude. Why?

Neither are you.you aren't that important.

They do it because it feels good to touch themselves there, not because they want to have sex. Child "sexuality" is extremely different from adult sexuality. If your kid (younger than preteen) is really interested in sex, that's likely a sign that something is wrong and could point towards sexual abuse. But it depends on context. Not quite true, actually. Everyone Is Awesome: Lego to launch first LGBTQ+ set
I recommend reading the article, it's not very long. But you get to hear from the designer of the set:
I love this set and I will be buying myself one. I have been a Lego fan since I was a kid and I will have no issue adding this set to my collection!

That's amazing. Something that some consider not a life is actually aware and playing with itself? You must be kidding! Not quite true, actually. What do Legos do for adults.
See I have a different stance. Yeah everyone goes to the toilet. Fine don’t discuss that outside of health issues with your chosen doctor. But we all discuss food ad nauseam. Whether that’s sharing recipes or discussing nutrition or hell just straight up “food porn.”I'm neutral on the toy myself, but as far as people being sensitive about sex.... well, I think eating and excreting are good comparisons. Its not that any of those three things are problematic, its all about the when and where.
A person may serve a dinner after their wedding, but will be annoyed if you bring beer and popcorn to the ceremony. When I have guests over, they're certainly welcome to use my bathroom, but if I catch them popping a squat in my dining room.... well, we're going to have words.
Yup. More dumb corporate pandering to win brownie points from the PC Libs, looking to pry money from people who live life according to sound bites and bumper sticker slogans.I think this is ridiculous and inane. It's also a kid's toy and should not be having anything to do with sex.
And TV ads, radio ads and internet stories.Yup. More dumb corporate pandering to win brownie points from the PC Libs, looking to pry money from people who live life according to sound bites and bumper sticker slogans.
