I totally would want to know, ignorance is not bliss.
Oh definitely and with all things as well I need to be explained properly with evidence or supporting texts to justify the reason. Like for religious discussions many different interpretations can be thrown around, however, one thing that can be kept as a standard of legitimacy and not stray from the original meaning would be through the Scriptures from God.
But yeah I would agree, I would rather be proven wrong then to live in a lie because of stubbornness and arrogance. But also when approaching to prove someone wrong it should be as well for the intention of better them as well rather than wanting to have the pride of pushing my own opinion.
I shouldn't have someone follow what is right because it's what I believe and know but rather it will better improve the life of the one I'm speaking to.
