Darwin speculated about in other writings as being necessary for evolution to have occurred.. YOUR ignorance is showing. He he even said the precursor organism, are you ready for this, you might want to stop here, may have been created by God, since he could come up with anything else.

LOL, turn it back on me, try a little rope a dope huh ? I'm waiting
How many times have you been told that it does not matter where the first life came from for the theory of evolution? Now you admit to knowing that.

Thats not an sound argument nor debate, Shmogie just bait for you to attack. Got to come up with something better.

I don't have to come yup with anything other than the fact. Do you have any evidence, or are you here to try and muddle the issue ?

It is not only biased, it is wrong. They falsely accused Miller-Urey of being dishonest and mistakenly claim there was oxygen in the Early Earth atmosphere. That was not the case. At the very best they conflated elemental oxygen, which was present as part of CO2 but for all practical purposes there was no O2.

Is the definition they gave correct???

I wasnt giving it for statistics nor unbiased info. Just a basic definition. Its interesting. I have no clue about chemistry so Im the wrong person to talk to. If the general basic definition is wrong, let me know. Outside of that, I cant come back with any successful argument.

The topic is interesting nonetheless.

Evidence of abiogenesis professor, where is it, you sure pontificate a lot about it, without producing one iota of it.

You do not even seem to understand what is and what is not evidence. Why should anyone answer your requests that were not even formed correctly?

Here is a simple test question:
Is evidence proof?

Your tone is highly confrontational. It is not a debate nor a sound argument.

Abieogensis is a theory. You want evidence for a theory as if it were a fact.

What is the educational point of this thread???

The definition is roughly correct, but it goes downhill massively after that.

You would need to define life first. It's no mystery when conditions and circumstances are right, life will eventually erupt.

One could ask the same question for ourselves. How did we one day spontaneously generate in our mother's womb from a couple of cells and DNA?
Well, if it isn't a mystery, just tell me how it works, it seems to be a mystery to everyone else.

You do realize, don't you, that living organisms produce living organisms ? non living anything cannot produce anything living.

I think you seventh grade science class defined life, didn't it ?

Actually there is no overarching theory of abiogenesis yet. The current state is a series of hypotheses that deal with independent problems of abiogenesis. The Miller-Urey experiment was the first successful experiment of abiogenesis. It's purpose was only to show that the building blocks of life could arise naturally. It did not prove abiogenesis, it merely showed that one aspect of it was possible.

There have been quite a few successful experiments since then.

A theory must be established upon evidence. I am asking for evidence, not proof.

My tone isn';t confrontational, I simply cut directly to the chase.

What is the educational point of this thread ? Don't you want to know what the evidence is foer the proposal of abiogenesis, especially if you believe it ?

The only thing Shmogie and I have in common is we know not a thing about the topic. I find it interesting but I cant understand the chemistry.
Speak for yourself dear girl. I know a lot more about it than some who pontificate about it, a lot more.

There is nothing wrong with admitting that you do not understand the topic. I could learn a lot more as well. But if one refuses to learn then one will always lose when trying to debate against the idea.

Question with a question?

Cut to the chase: whats the educational lesson of this thread?

Speak for yourself dear girl. I know a lot more about it than some who pontificate about it, a lot more.

Non-confrontational means considering the disagreement and addressing it as "I disagree...and this is why". It means supporting your disagreement in a logical manner so conversations will not become arguments.

Its the nature of how to have a conversation before getting to what I hope you want to "talk" about.

You are domanding evidence. First you have to take in new information and process what you take in for whats benefitial to your position and what is not. Then,Id hope, you can present a logical rebuttal. But you havent shown you want to discuss it just demand evidence to which you dont want to listen to. Probably just to prove the other wrong. Its bait.

I am used to shmogie 's improper tactics. And he wonders why he does not get any answers.
