Evidence of Evolution that was presented but never addressed

What are you talking about? I said that neither gull nor salamander are a species, that's biological fact. There are many species of gull and many species of salamander.
now now.
No need to confuse him with truth.

OMG. What's next, a "So's your old man!" It's as if I was back in grade school listening to the kid at the back of the class make up excuses for not doing his homework. . . again!.

Although this is kind of amusing, so I'm giving you a LIKE. ;) for its entertainment factor.

We all know he did not read the book...

Are you going to answer sayak83's question? Which of David Stove's books have you read to make such grand generalizations? That answer would be entertaining for its tap dance value.

Sez the guy who talks about the Bible when he can't even figure out what university I went to. The answer is right in front of your nose from my evolution website. It is ironic seeing I turned out to be a YEC even though I went there hahahahahahaha.

I hold a PhD and have two postdocs with 10 papers in my name. How many science degrees do you have? o_O

All those degrees and still wrong. Do you make money due to evolution such as teaching it or subscribing to it as a scientist?

I have an MBA in Information Systems and worked most of my life in writing software. I retired early and am now pursuing creative writing and the hardware side. Still enjoy the software side though. The degree gave me a ticket to a good life and the education taught me to think for myself.

It's not about the degrees though. It's about having a well rounded thought process. I have read and enjoyed atheists' works, too, like Aldous Huxley. He wrote Moksha which describes his need for religion and transcendence through drugs. Imagine an atheist "craving" religion and transcendence. How many atheists crave drugs?

Why should I? He didn't direct any at me. However, what he did do was ask YOU:

"I guess you have read the book? Yes?"

To which YOU said to HIM (post 49)

"For one who is supposed to know science, this question shows a definite bias. Why don't you ask Skwim since he is the one who has the generalized opinion of David Stove?"
I believe you may be overworking your brain or maybe it's dyslexia, but whatever the case I suggest you carefully reread your posts before hitting the POST REPLY button.

Perhaps you should take a second look? I am a Hindu, not an atheist. Though atheism is just fine in my opinion, far better than YEC Christianity nonsense.
Have you read the book? Yes or No.

You're still being boring. Why don't we talk about the book if YOU'VE read it?

EDIT: And what does secular Hindu mean? Does it mean evolutionist and Hindu?

I don't know much about Hindu so won't comment, but evolutionist and Christian means Old Earth Creationist and that's wrong just like the atheist scientists and evolution.

Your link. I have not read it. If the book has arguments against evolution let's hear it...i.e. if you have read it?

Stove is a very interesting philosopher or philosopher of science. You should read this book since you're an intellectual. It's chapters are in essay form and was to be independent, but it turned out interdependent so he recommends reading it in order. Despite not being a scientist, he says if Darwinism is true and that species compete for survival such as food and their needs, then why do humans have hospitals? Why do humans go against Darwinism in that strong survive and care for the weak? Why are they altruistic? We've been told to practice random acts of kindness. He makes a strong case for Darwin being a Durwood.

Whoever gave you the idea that evolution is only about competition?
Evolution is about the survival of the fittest. If greatest fitness is achieved through cooperation then evolution will overwhelmingly favor that. Literally hundreds of examples exist, including humans of course. Read a bit on cooperative repeated game theory if you are interested.

Ha ha. One of the atheists said to read more in their argument for evolution. This spud is probably a liar who does not read himself and could not explain evolution if it hit him in the face.
It is funny, because whenever I read your posts in regarding to your claims about evolution, it is you that I find who is awfully ignorant about what evolution is.

If anyone requiring education in biology, it is definitely you.

It is amusing that ignorance of evolution is always the default position of your evos. This is ALWAYS based on one fact---we reject evolution. IMO, that is the second saddest thing you can come up with. The saddest things is saying evolution is science, but not being able to provide any evidence to support it. Hint; if you want to prove something in the TOE, include HOW it happens.

Congratulations a dog is an evolutionist without the rambling chatter. I might say evolve allready, id and young earth have nothing to do with the bible, but occupy peoples nonsense of reading into it like they are reading a science text, identical to how you understand it. Pitiful.

Still thinking people give a rats behind where you went to school?
Sad really.
The distance you are willing to go for that fallacy.

Are you a hypocrite? You haven't even read the book and want me to read your theories.

That's disingenuous. You wanted to know if I read the book and I have. You asked me multiple times to complete boredom. And you follow it up with another boring post.

Now, why don't you take your own advice and read it to increase YOUR knowledge. Certainly, I have read about game theory so please explain what it has to do with what we are discussing?

Stove even has you pegged in his first essay. You take the Soft Man way out of Darwin's Deilemma with your bit about game theory.

Darwin said that evolution is about competition and the survival of the fittest. David Stove counters it very nicely and presents essays to make one think. He is an agnostic. How can evolution happen when humans do not have the traits that are described? I assume you have read Origin of Species and Descent of Man. He has essays on both of them. What about the Selfish Gene by Dawkins? Stove covers it as well. He even covers errors of heredity.
