Evidence That Jesus Is God

Jesus also said "I am my Father are one."

What has happened is that most Christians interpret these verses to mean that Jesus is God.

But what they mean, Imo, is that Jesus is a perfect mirror image of God, a perfect reflection of God, so to SEE Jesus is to SEE God. The Almighty God cannot become flesh, so He manifested Himself in the flesh.

I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so in that sense I believe in a Trinity; but I do not think that these three are part of God. Rather, they are separate entities that work together. That is explained in this chapter: 27: THE TRINITY

Some people get lost in that chapter, so I wrote up a brief encapsulation of it;

There is only One God.

The Holy Spirit is the Bounty of God, an emanation from God. God is like the sun and the Holy Spirit is like the rays of the sun. God remains in His own high place, and does not ever descend to earth.

The Holy Spirit is the Bounty of God which became visible and evident in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ was like a clear mirror, and God became visible in the mirror, but God did not descend into the mirror. This is why Christ said, “The Father is in the Son,” meaning that the God was visible and manifest in this mirror.

The Comforter, Counselor, Helper, and Advocate are all descriptive terms or titles used for the Bounty of God that came to us through the Holy Spirit.
many like to use what Jesus said "I and the father are one '' to bad they don't read a bit more of scripture where it says '
11 “I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name, which you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.

I think the implication of that verse is that we can all be one with God in the sense that we can be close to God.

What do you think that verse means?
Does it sound like Jesus is planning to come back to the world?

is it your understanding that these people go to heaven with immortal bodies ?
If you mean do I believe that dead bodies rise out of graves and become immortal and then go to heaven, I do not believe that.

I believe that when our physical body dies it remains dead and our soul then leaves the body and goes to a spiritual world where it takes on a form, a spiritual body that is immortal.

and is it every one that go's there ?
The soul (spirit) of man is immortal so it can never be extinguished. All souls will continue to exist in the spiritual world but some souls will have eternal life and other souls will not have eternal life.

1 Corinthians 15:12-22 is all about spiritual death, not physical death. Bodies once dead do not rise from graves. Souls leave the body and rise to heaven and take on a spiritual body comprised of heavenly elements in the spiritual realm. They then continue to exist for eternity. The souls who are spiritually alive have eternal life so they go to heaven the souls who are spiritually dead go to what is termed hell, although I do not believe these are places but rather states of the soul.

Jesus referred to eternal life, but He was not referring to physical life of the body. He was referring a quality of life, spiritual life, loving God and being close to God, and we can have eternal life both in this world and in the next world (the spiritual world).

John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

I will contend that only a relative few of mankind will have existence in heaven . the rest of mankind will live here on this earth . tell me will there be snakes and lions in this heaven of yours ? or just humans ?

So do you think that bodies will rise out of graves and live forever on earth? Where in the Bible does it say that?
What do you think heaven is?

I don't really know. As far as I know, just humans, but there might be animals.

.

Looking through the Bible the closest thing I could find is that at most Jesus was the son of god. In fact, several times Jesus made a distinction between god and himself. (The notion that he was one of "three coeternal consubstantial persons" wasn't finally formulated until 381AD.)
.

Actually in John 14:9, Jesus speaking. saying --- "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest you then, Show us the Father"

Well it's evidence here, what Jesus is implying that he is God the Father.

With all due respect read the verse above. But slowly. Take the time to grasp every word that Jesus is saying.

When Jesus Christ returns, the body of flesh and blood will no longer be. But everyone will become Spirit beings.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54
50--"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory"

Therefore no one will be of flesh and blood when Jesus Christ returns. Everyone will be changed to Spirit beings.

For flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God. Everyone must be Spirit beings to inherit ( enter) the kingdom of God.

When Jesus Christ returns, Jesus Christ will established his kingdom here on Earth at the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven to be here on Earth.

Revelation 21:2-3
2--"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"

3--"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"

Therefore God's kingdom will be here on Earth and not in heaven as people are being taught by man's teachings.

None of that is evidence, mere verses from the Bible.

You seem quite ignorant of the fact that angels are not confined to any one place. They behold the face of the Father in heaven and yet are moving about the earth invisible to man's eye.

The Holy City, called New Jerusalem, is made up of those whose house(immortal body)was prepared by Jesus. Each house is an individual, and many houses together are a city. And when that City comes down from heaven, all the Houses (immortal bodies) are included.

In Revelation 4 a door was opened in heaven and John saw the immortalized saints represented by the 24 elders and the 4 beasts. They represent the city of God which comes down from heaven. They are the ones who, with Jesus, will execute God's judgments that have been written and sealed with seven seals. Of which only the Lamb was worthy to open.

I find it hard to understand how anyone can give that crazy book of Revelation a second glance. I reckon the author was stoned out of his mind when he concocted it.
