Evidence

I have but one assumption....there is an Almighty.
It's an assumption because there's no ....evidence.

But there is logical and analytical thought.
There are means of developing faith.

Apparently not for you?

Again you assume to know that which you do not know.

This simply means your assumption that there is an Almighty is a baseless and unreasonable assumption; being an assumption doesn't preclude admitting of evidence.

No, logical and critical thinking are absolutely fatal for most varieties of faith, especially the Christian flavor. Faith and critical thought are natural enemies.

In the scheme of superlatives....there is someone greater than you.

In the scheme of spiritual life...there is Someone Greater than you.

Fatal?
As in eternal darkness?
Going to follow your body into the box and then into the grave?

I don't use the label Christian btw.

Sure- Adrian Peterson, Marcus Miller, Micheal Jordan, Bono... I could go on all day here. But there's nothing remarkable about this- there's alot of people out there.

Hmm, the ominous capitalization... "Someone Greater" than me? Again, I'm sure there is- see the list above. But I don't know what the phrase "in the scheme of spiritual life" is supposed to mean, and I doubt you do either.

Why so dramatic? Not like eternal darkness, more like how staying up all night on Christmas eve and catching your parents putting presents in the stockings is "fatal" for your belief in Santa Claus- rational people can't believe in inconsistency, and critical thinking is inconsistent with religious faith, for the most part.

I don't use the label Christian btw.

That's nice. But if something quacks and waddles, it doesn't matter if it calls itself a walrus- its still a duck.

Eternal darkness is physically real.
Follow your body into the box and into the grave.....there you are.

You can't get out of your body now....when you think you're in control.
What makes you think you will when you die?

I suspect the connection was made by Something Greater.
I further suspect heaven allows us to stand from the dust....
or leave us where ever we fell.

Of all the desires we have ever felt....
when we fall to suffer the last breath only one desire will be there.
To stand up.
I suggest you go with it.

I believe heaven will be there to see what came of the dust.
You will then follow....or be left behind...as you fell.

btw The Carpenter is my Inspiration.
But no congregation would have my attendance.
I follow no one....no one follows me.
