Well if God can make His Word alive, it would seem to me that satan, or evil whatever you want to call it ,might have the power, to proJect itself in to the heart of man,from a film, the Word of God does, does satan has that power I dont'know, can't say he don't. seems it could be detrimental for satan, since he is the great deceiver, working from inside man's heart seems to work better for him. But I don't know everything.

She knows I watched the film, two of our friends died, and the thing about the night terrors and my hospitalization. We've never talked about the possibility that any of it is related.

Maybe it isn't related. Maybe it has nothing to do, at all, with demons, etc. Maybe.. it's just a lesson that someone had to learn, like your school no longer showing some crazy excorcism to its seniors, for whatever reason, by gods will, or not. Or, think of it backwards like I like too. You, those guys, maybe it was their.. fate.. or future, obviously forseen, and god/spirits/etc willed such an event so you and others could correlate the two. No need to think its related if thats the case xP because that event was because of your guys future, not the other way around if that be your hope.. let it be. No need to think otherwise, were all here for a short time anyhow.
I watched all of steven hawkings universe related BS on netflix. Of all of it, this is what I got. He was on a path to be some... super.. sport related athlete or something of the sorts, untill uncontrollable events turned him astray. Then, he becomes paralyzed, so a comment he made on one of the shows was that he felt it odd that his path was led correctly based upon his unforseen future. Obviously he could of never been an athlete because he was to naturally become paraylzed, but the events in his life that led him astray led him to correctly adapt and benefit himself and the world to what was to come in his near future. See it like that.. and it'll all clear up a bit. Agiain, no need to think its related. The irony here is that this was a catholic school, im assuming atleast. So naturally, its ironic that such an event occurred to a bunch of catholic students at a catholic school, and that this thought your insinuating, that all these events are related, is a slight reality to you and a few others. (Possibly). Was meant to be. Know, though, Im here to tell you that you have nothing to fear. Its how the universe works son. Irony.

Update: I had dinner last night with an old friend from school - he was an undergrad Media major at the time - he now owns a very successful muli-media company in Dallas. We got to talking about this and he let me know that he might have a copy of the film. It turns out that the film student converted the film from 8mm to digital format before he showed it to us. He's never seen it but he remembers it because his friend asked him to edit it, but died before he got a chance to do it. It's just been sitting in storage since 2001 -- if it's with all the other projects he saved from back then.

Well, he has it. He converted it to QuickTime .m4v and sent it along to me. Man does this bring back memories.

I am thinking about this.
I didn't watch the whole thing. I just viewed the beginning and then skimmed through it to make sure that it's all there. Still chilling after 13 years.

Little fact about me. I wanted to and nearly became a priest when I was younger. I wanted to be an exorcist. My mom in stilled on me a lobe of horror movies. Monsieur was connected, I had met the bishop on several occasions, he even washed my feet, but I lost my faith to a bad sermon. That was a run on sentence.
Even as a skeptic this is a topic I am interested in and would treat with a skeptic but open mind. I think my post in this thread show what I mean. After I would like to see if I can look at those news articles but I doubt I'd find them on, this way I could make my own conclusions.

That's interesting. I don't know how one becomes an exorcist -- a real one, that is. It's so secretive in the Church, and probably even more so with the current Pope. I was told that there was only three back in 2000 or so, and they probably won't be replaced when they die. They might have an apprentice or something - but this seems like something that one "lucks" in to.

To be honest, there's plenty of shocking content already freely available online - I highly doubt it's going to transmit some sort of "Evil" when watched by others.

I don't think so, either. That is, I don't think that evil is going to be transmitted -- but I do think that this little film is different.
I just found out the Vimeo has password protect, and I'll see if my software can download it. If not, that's good enough for me...
