Evil Is the Essence of Everything That Exists.

How did that happen?

During the fall from the Pleroma.

Again, how do you know it is inept if you can't even imagine what its supposed to be like under a non-inept creator?

Because I know the perfection of the Pleroma. This world will never have the perfection of the Pleroma but it could have balance. That is what is missing from this world, we live in a world out of balance.

And this wholeness (that is recognizing and embracing this shadow aspect) is supposed to result in something good? It seems a lot more like it would result in unimaginable horror. If the being is unconsciously evil and responsible for the horror of this life out of a lack of realization. I can't imagine that such a being suddenly recognizing that it is evil and embracing that evil is going to improve things for us. It sounds like step 1 before an eternity of pain and suffering.

Is increased awareness of the True Self and the True Will good? I would think so. The only reason God is evil is because God refuses to acknowledge his Shadow, he refuses to be fully aware and integrate the other into his self and by doing so he does not know how to love, like Shakespeare's King Richard he is alone.

" I have no brother, I am like no brother :
And this word love, which greybeards call divine,
Be resident in men like one another,
And not in me; I am myself alone."

"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me."

"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."

An inability, rather than a refusal.

Cooler than most of you
During the fall from the Pleroma.

I asked how, not when.

Because I know the perfection of the Pleroma.

Tell me about it in as much detail as you can manage.

This world will never have the perfection of the Pleroma but it could have balance. That is what is missing from this world, we live in a world out of balance.

What is a world with balance like?

What is it about the 'shadow' that God doesn't like?

I know that sounds bleak.

I believe that this universe's essence is it's Creator, the substance of the universe is the Demiurge. Every atom and electron, every molecule or chemical compound, all of life, human and animal is informed by the Demiurge. All that of which is matter and all of that which is energy is the manifestation of God's being.

This is basically pantheism...but I also happen to believe God is evil and imperfect and since God is evil and imperfect so is God's creation. And that include us, in fact while I believe that God is the possibility, the potential and will of evil, I believe that every single human being living on this planet is the actualization of evil.

I don't think that God is utterly evil, I think God is more of a mediocre and inept sort of being and that is probably why the majority of the human race is mediocre and inept, because we are accurately reflecting our Creator, who is a banal sort of evil. But I also believe that the Creator has a "shadow" side of himself that he is in contention with and wishes to destroy because he is ignorant that this "opposite" side of himself is him. And it is this contention which causes the presence of radical evil in our world. Radical evil is what happens when God rages against God for doing evil, which results in greater evils being committed.

God is also not totally evil because God wants good, he wants order and he wants justice, it is just his ignorance that prevents him from achieving any of these thing. He intends good but because of his ignorance we get evil, he intend order but we get chaos, he intends justice but we get injustice. His ignorance as corrupted him and it is his ignorance that permeates all so it corrupts everything. We too often seek to do good but often in our endeavors we only make things worse.

So basically we live in a crap sack world because we have a crappy Creator. But he is a creator and he does manage to create things of beauty when inspired but I really don't think that inspiration comes from him.

So what do you think?

Good.

For a moment I thought He was evil and perfect.

If he is evil and imperfect, there is still hope He will mess things up, against His evil will.

Ciao
