Evolution & Creation: What if God made Evolution?

Gyrannon

You could say that evolution made God. Evolution "made" man, and man "made" God.

So that's that sorted out then. :p
LOL

Are we going to explicitly accept God as a possible cause in every other instance ("why did my toaster work fine yesterday but burn my toast today?" "Until you check for a wiring fault, stay open to the possibility that God did it.")? If not, why explicitly assume this for evolution specifically?

Are you going to explicitly accept other things with as much justification as possible causes of evolution (e.g. time travel or magic pixies)? If not, why single out God?

I didn't start the whole debate of what Creationism is. I don't know who started this whole thing of "Creation vs Evolution", frankly it just feels dumb that science & religion have to battle like two babies fighting over a rattle.
Time Travel doesn't create anything, like saying Cars being a possible cause of Evolution.

The only other possible cause of our Creation is via an Alien species. Magic Pixies? ummm no....

No intelligent design : is the most denial of facts that I faced here in RF,it's just describe as mental suicide by Dr Adnan Ibrahim.

You say that as if you were there when everything was designed an made. You weren't. Its only a fact when its proven, no book written by man is considered proof.

It's proof that someone written it.
because it's sound crazy if you said book written by it-self.

But its not proof of God's existence, for if it were, then all other books about other Gods could claim the same.
If you are convinced that book is impossible to be written by it self,I think it's just arrogance or may curiosity to ask writer should show up him self ,but I think not necessary.

I'm not doubting the possibility of God, I am doubting that man who was inspired by God to write the book actually wrote everything as intended by God.

We were given the ability of Free Will, which also grants us the ability to Disobey him, and God has never stopped us from Disobeying him, even if it's seriously offensive to him.
Same goes for every other book that writes about their Gods, they also mention that their gods demand obedience but gave them free will an the ability to Disobey. Take Odin for instance, what if blood sacrifices were never what Odin wanted an it was just something a believer felt was necessary to add in?

One other bit, Jesus NEVER once scolded his mother for anything or any woman for that matter, yet people who believe in him think its their duty to control & scold women as if they are given the express privilege by God/Jesus to do so.
"Let he who is not guilty of sin cast the first stone" yet many still practice stone throwing even today.

Arrogance comes from believing that you know better when in reality you don't. I don't claim to know anything about any God, for all I know God could be a woman, I'm just a mortal, how could I know? I can't simply ask & expect a reply from God, all I can do is be curious til the answer to my questions are answered.

So God being the creator who could be the one who made Evolution, that sounds ridiculous? How? Why?
If God is capable of anything, what could be wrong in accepting the possibility that he made Evolution?

Also, my argument is that they are both the same. God creating evolution, he can still say "I created you" even if he left it all to chance.

Why we can't see anymore new species coming? Why it all stopped as it's now?

Scientists Observe Wasps Evolving Into New Species
Study suggests speciation in one group of organisms could trigger speciation in another group

Scientists have documented three species of wasps turning into three new species, an unusual close-up view of rapid evolution in action.

In a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the team found that evolutionary changes in one species of fruit fly triggered a cascade of evolutionary changes in three species of wasps that are predators of the fruit fly.

As a result, not only did the fruit fly evolve into a new species, but so did each of the wasps. The speciation process took a mere 160 years. The research sheds light not only on how some new life-forms originate, but also how quickly it can happen.

“We tend to think of evolution occurring over millions of years,” said Scott Egan, evolutionary biologist at Rice University and co-author of the study. “What jumped out at me is that [a new species] can emerge in contemporary time.”

Speciation typically occurs when biological variations between individuals in a species allow some of them to live in a different environment. If they thrive there, it drives divergence from the original pool, and a new species is born.

Ah: it's a false middle ground you're after.

Time Travel doesn't create anything, like saying Cars being a possible cause of Evolution.
I meant that a bit of RNA, DNA, or what-have-you could have been (will be?) sucked through some sort of time vortex into the distant past to create a seed for life. Panspermia in four dimensions.

The only other possible cause of our Creation is via an Alien species. Magic Pixies? ummm no....
What does God have going for it that magic pixies don't? Why the "ummm no...." for one but not the other?

@Augustus @Gyrannon

What new species that is evolving now? Any new species from mammals here or there?

Homo sapiens, the modern human of today was here since 200,000 years ago.
What tiny changes that occurred during these 200,000 years and why the modern
human still not changing, no more evolution, what will be next?

You ask for something that's happening now, but that 'doesn't count' because it's not humans?

Humans are significantly taller than they used to be. That's a 'tiny change'.

Also humans have a greater ability to adapt their environment to their needs than other species and have low reproductive rates meaning large evolution adaptations are less likely to occur than in wasps for example.

You seem to have a cartoon view of evolution with mammals turning into new species in front of your very eyes. Not only that, but you should be able to predict 'what will be next'....

Actually they were taller and not shorter, and even the differences in height isn't that significant.

40,000 years ago: European males – 183 cm (6 feet). Cro-Magnon people were the first modern humans (Homo sapiens)
to inhabit Europe.

Catholicism allows followers to make their own choice on evolution. there is no instruction to say it is correct or incorrect.

To my knowledge. the universe is one big clock God made. He may very well allow it to act on its own and observe chance (free will) and at the same time jump in to the rap battle and remix it.

I agree that even if God let things run wild, one could still say He created it all. Man was made from clay and here we are made of foundations of the universe. except maybe black matter and some other unknown stuff

Alright, if this god is all knowing and all powerful, it planted the seeds for evolution knowing exactly what was going to happen.
This action transcends sadism, it is the most evil thing I've ever heard of, but that's besides the point.

Whether it did something like this or not is irrelevant, mainly because we can not show that it did.
This hypothetical belongs more in the philosophy section, imo.
what? evolution is sadist?
