I do not believe in evolution, so I'm not the one to ask because the question is directed towards those who believe in God AND evolution.
Science do not depend only anyone’s personal beliefs, including you and I.
You are not doing science, if we take your personal preferences into account.
Preferences, whether they be opinions or beliefs, are hinders to science, are very subjective, and often lead to biases.
So to mitigate these biases that come from preferred opinions or beliefs, each MODELS (…models would & should include both EXPLANATIONS and PREDICTIONS, made for a new “hypothesis” or current “scientific theory”), required to be tested by some observable tests (eg evidence or experiments…or both).
The observations (eg evidence, experiments) should include information (also known as DATA) about the physical properties, and that would composition, quantities, measurements, etc.
These evidence, experiments & data, should be analysed to find out if these tests support or don’t support the falsifiable models of the hypothesis or theory.
What determines science are observations that come from evidence, experiments & data, these are what make or break hypotheses or theories.
But if you CANNOT TEST hypotheses or theories, as in there are no evidence, no experiments & no data, then such concepts are untestable (and UNFALSIFIABLE), baseless, useless and would be disqualified from the status of being “hypothesis“. That’s the case with so-called “Creation” or divine miracles from some supreme beings of religions.
Sciences aren’t about fitting in with anyone personal preferences, with one’s personal opinions, or with one’s personal beliefs - not yours, not mine, not with anyone or with everyone - including the likes, views or beliefs of scientists.
