Not real encouraging so far. Something I'm finding out pretty quick is that a lot of the people hanging out on forums specifically for writers are there because, to put it bluntly, they can't write.
So far I'd say the quality of writing here in RF is a lot higher than almost everything I've seen in the "Writers" forums I've been checking out lately (there've been a cpl of pretty impressive exceptions).
The problem with that is that in order to interact there you're expected to critique each others work, which I wouldn't mind doing, but in some cases the only honest thing I could think to say was "Oh my eyes!!!"
There was one site that looked promising but the mods are kind of brutal: I accidentally posted the same thread twice, something that we (the staff here ) would have recognized immediately as an honest mistake, and they basically asked me for my next of kin.
