I have to say that my favorite breakfast is Ful Medames with fresh pita and cucumbers.

That was one of my Italian father-in-laws favorite combinations to eat. I like it as well, but not as much as he did.

It consists of fava beans and a variety of middle eastern and Indian spices. Fresh vegetables go on the side to eat with the dish. You should try it! It is an Egyptian staple

I liked what you said so much that I liked your post. But not peanut butter and replace maple syrup with blueberry syrup.

I'm pretty boring. Breakfast for me is usually one of the following:
Muffets with fruit de jour.
Shedded wheat with fruit de jour
Multi-grain Cheerios with fruit de jour
Raisin bran with fruit de jour.
When I am feeling extravagant and bourgeois I make multi-grain toast with 100% natural peanut butter topped with cucumber slices and/or banana slices... serves with a glass of orange juice.
I get around to a cup of coffee about 1/2 hour after breakfast.
