Female nudity vs Male nudity

Male nudity, no doubt. At least in this part of the world.

The cultural taboo in Brazil being very much slanted towards accepting female nudity or near-nudity while avoiding the male variety.

I can't say that bothers me much.

Same thing in Italy. In our Latin countries, we value woman's body more.
I don't know why Germanic countries praise the male body so much.

well...in America you tolerate girls with a Pavarotti belly and expect men to be skinny.
we Italians expect women to have a very tiny waist, whereas men are supposed to be bellied.

It says nothing good about people who place such arbitrary and superficial expectations upon others.

Is this some kind of a joke? See, this is what makes me think you're a troll. No one who knows anything about America would say that we tolerate fat women in any way. We heavily criticize and bully women who are viewed as "chubby" or even slightly overweight. As a culture, we're rather merciless about it and many girls and women have eating disorders and starve themselves into being walking skeletons.

It's much more tolerated for a man to be a fat slob in America.

Exactly!

Not to mention the fact that men have yet to be sexually objectified to the extent as woman.

I don't know. I don't think either should be scandalous. I personally don't like nudity of either gender, but that's a personal opinion. People look better with clothes on.

Honestly...do you think that such a skinny man is sexy?

please...he makes me puke.
Italian women (and I, of course), we prefer the man with the belly and with large chest,....and above all with no muscle which are synonym of gay
omo de panza, omo de sostanza

Why do you pretend to speak for all Italian women. I reiterate, during my visit to Rome most of the men were built llike Pee Wee Herman. They had no trouble at all running around with the hairy, obese Italian women.

As a married straight guy for 25 years now, I prefer women too.

You have some pressing point to make?

Which one provokes more scandal? I mean in the media: TV, magazines etc...

you can speak ,obviously, of your cultural background.
second question:
- Which do you think it is more scandalous?
I think nether should constitute as scandalous, tbh.

Can we rename this thread?

My suggestion: Cognitive Dissonance and Latent Misandry in Italy

Latent?
no, dear mister. It deals with conscious misandry.
I don't know who to blame for this...maybe a matriarcal society...I really dont know.
but the fact that Italian men are insecure about their masculinity doesn't make real men...I guess

This is hilarious. You immediately assume Italian men to be insecure instead of thinking that maybe, just maybe, you're making things up to justify your own views that male nudity is inferior.

Definitely still latent, in this case.

my standpoint is impartial, because I am gay. If I had been partial, I would have said that man's body is better, given that I like men only
They are equal from a natural point of view. But the woman's body is aesthetically superior from an artistic point of view.

You are gay, but why the hell would that excuse you from misandry?
