Michael Keaton was the best Batman imo. You need someone palpably nuts for that role
He definitely is still the best, especially as he did both Bruce Wayne and the Batman well. It's my opinion most actors who take the role do one well side (usually Bruce) but not the other. Michael Keaton had both down and had everything else going right (especially a much better director) to make for what are still good movies. George Clooney, for example, was not that good with the mask on, had among the worst Batman costumes ever seen on screen.

Sixteen Candles is a gem from the eighties, which is considered a cult movie in my country.
Besides The Goonies, it's the emblem of the eighties culture.

I don't think they are doable today in 2023. Too much against political correctness. ;)

Never really thought about the dual role before, but you're right; that's why Christopher Reeve was peerless as Superman - because his Clark Kent was equally brilliant.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Does anyone else besides me remember Eddie Murray as Buckwheat on Saturday Night Live?

Speaking of Buckwheat, I'm sure that he and the Little Rascals would be shunned in today's society as well.
Already classics like the Three Stooges, Laurl and Hardy, Daniel Boone, just about anything in the 40s and 50s are being attacked by incredibly sensitive and reactionary people who just can't handle things like that.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Definitely the timeless and beloved classic, Song of the South will be in the hit list of the pathologically sensitive crowd.
