For those who think that prophet Mohammad was a pedophile

As you can see at Aisha - Wikipedia

it is not really disputed that one of Muhammad's wives was well underage. At least, neither Shia nor Sunni dispute it.

To doubt it would essentially mean to believe that early companions of Muhammad decided to slander him while he was still alive. That, of course, sounds almost completely unbelievable.

Do you think that the prophet was a pedophile because during his life he married one woman
which is thought to be underage? is that what you think a pedophile is?

I don't think he was a pedophile. That's a specific concept with a clinical definition. I've known actual pedophiles, too. (They're not necessarily the same as child molesters, either.) They have a certain psychology. You also have to factor in cultural and social conditions.

But while I wouldn't say he was a pedophile, I don't think child marriage is an example to be followed or praised. Some things are best left in the past.

And such person who can have a multiple fetishes can stay with one woman older
than him for 25 years, the prophet didn't choose any kind of women till he reached
the age of 25, so what do you think ?

This thread isn't about the love of the prophet, it's up to you if you choose to hate him

Hate? I don't hate him, I dislike him. I take hatred of someone very seriously, this person isn't worth that sort of dedication.

Don't care about his love life or the women he stayed with for however long, doesn't change much.
Plenty of people hide what they are into very well, especially if they're fetish is highly looked down upon.
Gay men can marry for 20 years and have a few kids before they come out about being gay, or they may not ever come out at all.

I can't be bothered to do any research on my own, so can somebody direct me to any evidence that Mohammad married and had sex with an eight year old girl? Preferably a passage from the Qur'an?

I've heard that a lot from people.

Firstly, what the Quran says about Muhammad counts most as it is the Word of God.

Sura 33:21

"Ye have in the apostle of GOD an excellent example, unto him who hopeth in GOD, and the last day, and remembereth GOD frequently."

Sura 53:1

"BY the star, when it setteth; your companion Mohammed erreth not; nor is he led astray: neither doth he speak of his own will."

Muhammad married a woman by the name of A'isha when she was around 19 years old.

The claim that she was 9 comes from a Hadith which contradicts the Quran so is baseless.

Sura 31:6

31: 6 Among the people, there are those who accept baseless hadiths to mislead from the path of God without knowledge, and they take it as entertainment. These will have a humiliating retribution.

You can read the chronology of events showing A'isha was around 19 when married. Also there's Books and research.

How can you, you don't know him, you have been told what to believe about him, and you do.

In that case I won't make any decision, but you're making your decision about
him of being a bad person, why not just don't care than making a specific
decision without a proper investigation, do you think it's kind of a wise thinking?

Not exactly.

If Aisha was, say, twelve years old or younger and Muhammad willingly had sexual relations with her then yes, I do consider him a pedophile. Whether they were married or not is immaterial in that.

You don't know even what fetish means.

Originally, most medical sources defined fetishism as a sexual interest in non-living objects, body parts or secretions. The publication of the DSM-III in 1980 changed that by excluding arousal from body parts in its diagnostic criteria for fetishism. In 1987, a revised edition of the DSM-III (DSM-III-R) introduced a new diagnosis for body part arousal, called partialism. The DSM-IV retained this distinction.[6] Martin Kafka argued that partialism should be merged into fetishism because of overlap between the two conditions,[6] and the DSM-5 subsequently did so in 2013.[1] The ICD-10 definition is still limited to non-living objects.[3]

Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him was known to be a decent and a honest man, he
didn't has any relation with any women in his youth years even though that obscenity was
existing in the Arabian peninsula and women were available as slaves in all ages, so finding
a woman in that era wasn't a big issue.

The first wife of the prophet was Khadija, she was a widow of the age of 40 while
the prophet was at the age of 25, he loved her regardless of her age and they stayed
married for 25 years and when she died at the age of 65, the prophet was at the age of 50.

Khadija was the first woman to accept Islam as she knows her husband very well and
she trusted him even before being married to him, the prophet was called the truthful
and the honest( as-sadiq al-amin) which I believe it was planned by Allah in order for
his people to believe and accept the message of Islam.

To be continued ....

I know A'isha was a wonderful woman and what they say about Muhammad and her is terrible but courtesy is still very important.

“A harsh word is even as a sword thrust; a gentle word as milk."

“Therefore an enlightened man of wisdom should primarily speak with words as mild as milk, that the children of men may be nurtured and edified thereby"

“One word is like unto springtime causing the tender saplings of the rose-garden of knowledge to become verdant and flourishing, while another word is even as a deadly poison. It behooveth a prudent man of wisdom to speak with utmost leniency and forbearance”. (Baha'u'llah)
