For trinity believers: Does your world come unravelled if Jesus is not God,but ONLY Gods Son?

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
The great majority of people have no idea what the tetragrammaton means. Firstly, in Hebrew, it is read from left to right, so YHWH is actually backwards. Secondly, the tetragrammaton is intentionally unpronounceable. This causes difficulty when the OT is read aloud, so something has to be said. "LORD or Lord" is what English-speaking people use for God's name, whether spoken or written.

So what, in your opinion, are the actual terms for God's name (oral and written)?
Hebrew is read from right to left, not left to right. All Hebrew is read from right to left and doesn't sound like English, so Hebrew and Greek must be translated into native languages for us to understand it. English is read from left to right.

I made a mistake saying left to right. You are correct.

OK. I'm not an expert in these things, but the four Hebrew letters signifying the personal name of God (YHWH) has been transliterated as Yahweh or Jehovah in English. It depends upon the publishers and editors how they render it. Either way is correct enough in English.

Not only that but THERE IS NOTHING WRONG with making a genuine attempt to pronounce the NAME of God … a reverent approach is not unGodly.

What do you say about the NAME of the human Son of God: Jesus?

IT IS NOT ‘JEE-ZUS’ is it???
What? You didn’t know?????? Oh boy!!!!

It is, in fact, more like ‘YESHUA’!!!
Which is then Anglasized to ‘JOSHUA’!!!
And Greek-ised to ‘IESUS’
And finally to ‘JESUS’

So, if ‘Jesus’, if ‘Yeshua’ is almighty God… then isn’t the NAME of God as the Son being blasphemed???

Of course, it’s a nonsense, which is why no one ever claimed a blasphemy in mispronouncing the NAME of the Son of God…. Since the Son of God IS NOT GOD!!! (Reality and truth: 101…!)

The end of the debate is that by REFUSING to ACKNOWLEDGE the NAME of the one true God, as most TRINITARIANS seems to say, this then allows for blasphemies to occur and also the diminishing of God’s statement to mankind:
  • ‘This is my NAME for ALL ETERNITY’
So it doesn’t matter if you cannot pronounce it CORRECTLY (who speaks HEBREW these days?) as long as an attempt is made IN REVERENCE to God. Moreover, a SUPPORTED interpretation CAN BE AGREED - which is why interpretations such as:
  • ‘YAHWEH’ and
  • ‘JEHOVAH’
are perfectly VALID.

How many people have names that are pronounced DIFFERENTLY in different accents and languages… WHO IS OFFENDED by one or another if the speaker makes full attempt or speaks it reverently?

Almighty God used his name constantly (according to the Old Testament / Torah). Why do so many REFUSE to use it today…

(I know why but that’s for another debate!!)
