For Trump, size clearly matters; reality, not so much

And for those who might like a boit more to smile about, there's the recent headline

Trump falsely claims Harris campaign used artificial intelligence to inflate Michigan crowd size

which is noteworthy if only because it comes from FOX2Detroit, noting:

In addition to streaming the rally on FOX 2 Detroit, there were also photos and videos taken of the event, as well as rebukes from the Harris campaign. Additionally, the social media platform X also fact-checked posts claiming that crowd photos were fake.

I saw an interview with a young black woman, who was an internet influencer, who said the Harris campaign was paying her to say good things about her on her social media presence; DNC buying votes. She said she got paid $3000. There is a full court scam going on.

The fact that Harris has not had a press conference, where she is asked direct questions, and the observation that liberal media is barely complaining, shows maybe they are also getting paid. The Empress's New Moderate Clothes. What I also heard is some Democrats are still angry about Biden being driven out by that Coup, and Harris being coronated without any Democratic vote.

The DNC Convention may not be all fun and games and something might happen to change everything. Nancy Pelosi appears to be getting buyer's remorse for what she did to Biden. The Rabid base is fired up, but the moderates are falling away.
I saw an interview where [insert random person saying anything you want]. Of course it was so obviously true I accepted it immediately. The fact that I wanted to believe it was true had nothing to do with that, no siree, no, not at all, nope, nothing to do with it.

Quite right. Harris isn't. Nor was Biden.

... did you fail to realize that?

All the best.

No, because I don't have a dog in this race. They are all pathological liars. Trump, Biden, Harris, Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. Name one US presidential candidate or any politician of all time that isn't/wasn't. It's a job requirement. Thus, my remark on hypocrisy in the post with the link. From the video transcript, with sources: "The next day, it was revealed that the scene was a literal stage play. The adoring crowd were not grassroots supporters of Donald Trump who all spontaneously decided to wear the same Trump t-shirts and awkwardly pose with their “homemade” signs for the cameras, but, as an FEC investigation later confirmed, literal actors paid $50 each by the Extra Mile Casting agency on behalf of their client, Gotham Government Relations & Communications.

But it didn’t matter. Like all the iterations of the President Messiah script that came before, Trump’s Make America Great Again psychodrama was already having its intended effect on the population."

It's interesting how quickly people buy into the things Trump posts as if they are truth or evidence of anything

Those supporting Trump's delusions now are the same people who were screaming about Joe Biden's dementia at the time he withdrew on July 21. Polls were showing Trump with a growing lead over Biden, and Democrats had been calling for him to step down because of his debate performance.

Now the polls are showing Kamala Harris with a slight, but growing, lead over Trump. Trump is spouting pure nonsense about crowd sizes, and it looks like the AI nonsense is something he sincerely believes. In his mind, that would explain what happened rather than accept that a black woman could be generating that much enthusiasm. He is also doubling down on his false memory of a near helicopter crash with Harris's old boyfriend, Willie Brown, even after it has been proven that it never happened. Trump claims he has proof to back up his delusion.

Where are the calls for Trump to step down? Democrats were able to convince Biden to withdraw voluntarily, after they showed him proof that he was losing the race. We now have the same kind of dilemma concerning the candidate on the Republican side--a candidate whose performance is obviously on a track to lose and drag downballot Republicans along with him.

There is no attempt by Republicans to remove a candidate suffering from obvious delusions. Unlike with Biden, Republicans know that they can't talk Trump down from his perch. It isn't just Trump being delusional. It is the people around him and his devoted followers. They can't admit any reality other than the one spun for them by a delusional old man.

Republican have no bench. They chased all non-MAGA folks out of the RNC. Trump and MAGA are reaping what they sowed.
