Found a puppy...

OOOh the puppy! Stick to your guns with the family, perhaps if they see your dedication they will relent. Don't be nasty, just be firm and suggest positive solutions. You never know luv, perhaps you were to be the one who rescues him so that you can find him a good home. Truth is I hope you get to keep him. If not, don't harbor any ill feelings towards your parents, they have their own reasons that may not be clear to you at this time.

All in all dear, keep yourself and puppy warm. Good luck and blessings to you and your lovely dog. We are all pulling for you. Chin up!:)

Joyfully,
Martha

Currently, I'm residing in my car, with the dog.
Oh my God I love you :D

Seems to be the same age as the puppies I'm taking care of...

Sad story - their mother was trained to be an attack dog and is being abused, and so she's very unreliable, so I can't take care of her without risking my hand being bitten off...to take care of the puppies I have to take them far away from her. Their four littermates were taken one evening when I wasn't here, I'm afraid they were either killed or sold to be trained as attack/guard dogs. :( Dru, if you can't keep the puppy, at least make sure he has a good home!

Oh my goshhhhhh!!!! He is sooooo very cute!! I want him ooh ooh pleeeeease!:jiggy:

Oh rub his little fat belly for me, give him a big snuggle and a kiss from Martha. What a lovely baby he is. He could be the RF mascot! Blessings to you and him. Prayers go out that you may keep him. Good luck sweetheart.

P.s. I know it sounds stupid, but I actually reached out to touch my monitor screen and tried to rub his little head. What a little luv.

I'd seriously love to give it to one of you guys. If either of you can spare half the shipping costs, I'll definately ship him to you. Much rather you one of you than someone here :( .

I'm dead serious too. I'm probably going to end up having to get rid of the dog, but I'd love to send him to one of you.

He's sleeping right now, and he looks so peaceful. I fear to think of what the pound will be like for him. Underfed and undercared for... Likely put to sleep, if not adopted into a horrible family who will keep him on a short chain outside the house for the rest of his life. :(

Yes, but they have to reach the destination on the day they are sent. That could be arranged, though it'd be thirteen to fifteen hours.

:( Man Druidus, I would, but I am broke. (Besides which, I would be dead, I already have 2 dogs, 6 horses, and 2 cats)
I really wish I could. Have you called around to people you know seeing if they would like the dog?

Oh, wow...if only I could. I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to convince my parents in time, though. ARGH! I will certainly ask, though. I would be more than willing to secretly take care of him as I am the other puppies, but then he wouldn't be vaccinated. Well, maybe I could manage it...

How's this - I'm a no for now, but if you get the SLIGHTEST HINT he's going to be put to sleep, his little tail gets shipped here and I'll just make it happen.

82% of the dogs here are put to sleep. 12% are adopted here, and the remaining 6% are shipped to another pound in Ottawa.

Thank you for trying. If anyone else is here who might want to adopt the dog. PLease, by all means, inquire about it to me (not in PM, my inbox is already almost full, just post here).

Prima, if you can convince your parents, I might be able to scrape enough money up, maybe with some borrowed from my parents. It's not horrible expensive, but it's at least 150-200CAN$ to get to Ottawa, and I don't know how much to get to the U.S.A..
Thank you all for your support. I'm still hoping I can keep Cormac, though I doubt it. My second hope is for one of our members here to take him. If not, I guess it's the pound, unless I think fast.

Prima, how do you secretly care for the dogs? I have a little shed in the backyard. Maybe I could hide him there for a while, after putting some toys in with him, and food/water. (Of course, when my parents were gone, I'd keep him in the house with me)

Just thought of something else too. This dog is part husky (looks more Siberian than Malamute, but hard to tell in puppy stage), part something else, and part wolf (I'm guessing on the breeds). He'll need a lot of water in the south, as he's made for the cold. He will also grow huge, by the looks of his paws and snout. Be prepared for that if you wanted to adopt him. He's definately going to need excerise (I reccomend going to a dirt road/country road and letting him follow your car a bit). He'll also prefer a cold habitat, and he'll need a vet to look at the tail (it's pretty scarred on the end, because some layman cut it without veterinary knowledge  ).

To Indianapolis (airport code IND), it would cost a total of about 350-500CAN$ (might be slightly cheaper or more expensive, I'm estimating). U.S., that's about 284-406$.

He's definately got wolf! Maybe 1/2! Look at some other wolfdogs:

1/2 Wolf (Older, which is why the ears are not flappy anymore):

You can see the same snout and paws in Cormac. :jiggy:
