From JFK to RFK.

Anyone that votes for Biden again is not looking ahead. He is 80 years old and already stumbling and bumbling when he walks and talks.

Don't know much about RFK but 69 is better than 80
I don't think Biden is going to be around for much longer. Maybe one more term at most and at 80 thats stretching it. . Clearly he's not going to be mentally fit givin his mental and physical deterioration that's all but obvious to those that view him.

It would be wise to take in a younger person like RFK but Biden makes a great puppet for those desiring to control him behind the scenes which would, or ought to be very illegal for people not voted in to arbitrarily run the country as defacto rulers.

I'm thinking he might find some compromise that will get the rusty and neglected political wheel turning again.

The idea he's a Kennedy is somehow encouraging.

At least on an emotional level.

What a great time for Camelot 2.0.

Yea. The desire for someone with the capability to bring people into the political center is always the hope.

The name Kennedy is as iconic as Lincoln or FDR I think.

Let's hope the bloodline carries along the genetics and disposition as well to get the country rolling in the right direction and in unison.

I was and still am not a fan of Hillary [or Bill for that matter], but we should remember that she actually got more votes than Trump-- although that's not much consolation. I'm in the "feel the Bern" camp, but my fear was that if he won the nomination the Pubs would constantly scream "socialism" ad nauseum. Since most Americans don't seem to understand much about the various forms of socialism [he's a proponent of Scandinavian socialism as you're probably aware of], I think he would have likely "died on the vine", sorta speak.

Sorry to interrupt.
"Socialism", "communism", and lately "wokeism" have become lazy slurs used by conservative to refer to anything they either don't like or understand; actual meanings be damned. For example, during the civil rights era, the right considered race mixing "communism", which of course is nonsensical. They're also used to fear monger and stir up moral panic and hysteria.

I was thinking more of his conspiracies around vaccinations and autism and the Covid pandemic.
Sorry, I was talking about his father.
His father, RFK senior did say that he was risking his own life, by running for president, but people would not believe him.

If RFK ran against Desantis, the dems would flock to vote for RFK even though he is anti-vaccine, covid conspirator, etc.

Its only about the party.
Probably.

I bet most people blindly vote that way. They see their own party line, then flip flip flip their choices in lockstep all the way down the ballot.

Done for the election.

To be fair, that's not always the case. I am not a Democrat or a Republican, but I do tend to vote Democrat because they at least pay lip service to environmental concerns and social justice issues and have made some gains in those areas.

If it is between a person who is actively limiting the civil rights of a group and hurting the environment I would absolutely vote for the candidate not doing that. In this case, even if it means an antivaxxer. If this antivaxxer's opposition does have some hope of not actively destroying the environment and the civil rights of a group of people, then I would certainly make that a consideration, but between Desantis and Kennedy, it would appear Kennedy would have to get my vote.

Yep, as they have nothing to offer to actually deal with problems that our country needs to ameliorate. They didn't even have a party platform for the 2020 election, and they haven't produced a platform on how they would supposedly deal with the debt limit.
