Not interested in this lack of discussion for a second time.

This has already been covered.

In fact, another member refuses to do anything other than chew on the definition bone.

It is not really a difficult thing to understand. Why so darned much resistance to such a simple concept?
Are we still talking about babies being atheists as a default position?
Or have we moved onto much more important tasks?

like emot picking? :sarcastic

We are talking about refusing to support the artificial perception that atheism must be "proven", or that it somehow isn't the default mindset until and unless some sort of conception of god or at least of the supernatural is evidenced.

Babies are simply a convenient illustration.

That isn't something that I fear as an atheist. I don't believe in an afterlife.

Well...here we go again.....
7billion people ...copies of a device that can only produce a unique spirit....
and you are in denial.

We cross over.
The will to live will be there in your last hour.
(it may be the 'cause' you might actually crossover...in spite of your 'belief' or lack thereof)

We stand from the dust.
The manner of your mind and heart will make all the difference.

Your current choice might be left to you.
You don't believe in life after death?
The angelic may let that happen.

Back into the body you go.
Into the box and the box into the ground.
Eternal darkness is physically real.

I say....your declaration is the pivot point.

Thief, why do you insist on attempting to scare atheists about an afterlife?

It is not really likely to work at all, you know.

Well if you ask us who actually have babies...they're pretty much animist if anything. It's cute how they imbue self into everything but that is the way they are.

That actually is a pretty interesting theory... never heard that one before. I am actually curious to know your reasoning behind this. :)

So...the actual item behind the lack of faith is not part of the topic?

No afterlife....no need to deal with the topic?

Counting God out as if He is not part of the topic....or the afterlife.....?

Deity and survival of consciousness beyond physical death are two different things. It's annoying when people conflate the two.

I already said I do.

So be it!
Your declaration...as is.

6billion people will die within my lifetime.

There will be no One in charge.
(not for you anyway).

I believe in Something Greater than myself.
Someone will be in charge.
There will be peace.
