Yes, without question. Why do you "lol"? I see Thor every time we have a thunderstorm. When have you seen Yahweh or Jesus?

In my dreams, my plans, my health, my family, the love I give to people and that I get back, In the sky, in the waters, in those thunderstorms etc.

It sounds like your own voice. He speaks to your heart or for me does. When I feel him telling me to say something or to help someone I learned to do it.
So, couldn't that just be your conscience? I hear a voice in my head all the time, but it's me. Usually gives me great advice, but not always. Never thought of it being anything other than my own conscience. So, what made you think it was the Holy Spirit?

Positive change? I'm sure
Boost in attitude? Sure

Those were the only qualifiers you asked for, and were fulfilled.

Supernatural relationship with anything more than a deceiving entity? Nope

The concept of "supernatural" is nonsensical, since anything that exists is, by default, natural. This includes the Gods and all other wights.

Besides, I find the entire notion of eternal reward/punishment for following/not following a particular deity to sound awfully like the wiles of a Trickster God. My Gods make no such promises, as they don't know any more than anyone else what lies in Hel's domain.

Right

And never once do believers question the rationale behind his taking of life. That's how they maintain faith! :D

If he is life then he can take away life. Everything has happened and always will happen for a reason, and the death of a baby is perhaps to teach a kind of lesson or perhaps to save that child from something that they might've had to endure had their life were not taken. We don't know since we're just people. We aren't life, we just live it.

You know, using "right" as a sarcastic reply is supposed to be followed up by another sarcastic statement to properly illustrate how the statement being replied to is nonsensical. Otherwise it looks like you have no rebuttal at all.

Or it could just indicate that I have no interest in continuing in a conversation with you  I don't remember being obligated to respond to anyone for that matter when I signed up for this :/ I know what I know and you think what you think, beyond that, I'm not interested.

And you'll never question whether his taking of life is moral. I gave my daughter life. But I'd be imprisoned and executed in some states if I took it away. Fry the mortal, make excuses for the God who supposedly possesses superior morals and is the well from which all morality springs. No wonder my BS detector went off. But, I suppose making excuses for this paragon of virtue is how you stay faithful.

1. I don't like overly solicitous remarks that smack of knowing me off this board. That said, I am NOT your 'buddy' nor am I a 'buddy' at all. I am a woman.
2. I don't like people who insult me with no reason. I have been polite, albeit strongly opinionated. That you resort to ridicule to myself and others means you are no longer worthy of my time.

Damn, last I recall YOU got into my comment and displayed YOUR opinion to me. I didn't ask for your time nor did I ever foresee a "JoStories" conversing with me at any point in this life, so you can just the rest of my past, peace.

Reframe God and you'll reframe life. Keep sniffing for BS an you'll keep finding BS. Sniff out truth and you'll find exactly that.

There's nothing in the rules about it. It's simple convention. The more effective indication of such non-interest would be to just not respond at all.

In other words, the difference between truth and BS is little more than whether or not someone wants something to be either, rather than anything inherent to the thing being analyzed.

That's how online forums work. You post stuff, people comment. Because RF is partly a debate forum (and this thread is specifically in the debate section), you post stuff, and people debate it.

Yeah but it's pretty illogical to claim somebody is "unworthy" of their time when conversation was initiated by that person. Don't start a fire if you're not know how to keep yourself from being burnt.

But that wouldn't be getting my point across

Yes it would; far more effectively, in fact.

;) if you can't take a hint and run with it, then that's your problem.

Communication is a two-way process. You thought you were communicating one thing, but what you thought you were communicating is a context that I've never once encountered before, and thus had no reason to detect. On the other hand, I've seen the context that I spoke of many, many times, and thus that was what you ultimately communicated to me, whether you intended to or not.
