Don't worry. The brilliant comment was a sarcastic one.

You may want to look up that word in the online dictionary.

My response wasn't.

[By the way, one of the many differences between you and I is that I actually know what to do with a dictionary.]

Hang on a second - is English your first language?

I can explain my points a bit slower if needed because of that. This is a worldwide forum, and sometimes people don't understand each other because of a language barrier.

And... back to the OP...

Imagine Israel gives the WB to the Palestinians (shudder). What do we think the WB / Jordan border will look like? Might it look anything like the Gaza / Egypt border? Will it be just another wall in the blockade?

Jordan has already stated that they don't want a common border with any future Palestinian state (9 km distance). Jericho will be an issue at that point. Egypt just gave 48 hours notice a few days ago and have been bulldozing all structures within 500 m (for Americans think the 5 times the length of a football field) of the border fence with the Gaza Strip. So yes they will have a blockade from both sides.

So if I understand you correctly, the Palestinian's Arab neighbors would blockade them.

But we can predict that the world will call out only Israel for blockades... hmmm...

We don't have to predict it as it's happening right now in Egypt and it's not being covered in the non-Arab media and the UN has not called an emergency session to deal with.

As to the Jordan side, there are some site's that mention that the area between Jordan and the WB may become a Druze State. But like the numerous other plans, it lays on shelf collecting dust until the Israeli and Palestinian leaders finally sit down and talk without any preconditions to do so. Also Jordan has seen what happened when Israel left Gaza in 2005 and do not want a repeat of that on their border.
The world from here: Why Jordan relies on Israel to secure the Jordan Valley

Keep in mind that when Arab countries state that they support the Palestinians its mostly talk and politics. it's not any real backing. The following article is an example of the reality that no one ever hears about.
