Just exactly what would you call maintaining that men doing "women's" jobs is a waste of potential? It directly implies that work that a lot of women do is inherently beneath men to do. I don't care how much you back-peddle and try to say that isn't what you are saying, you ARE saying that over and over. That IS holding an attitude of superiority over women. I don't how you can believe that it isn't. So how is it a "personal attack" for me to point out the truth of the position you are presenting?

Just because YOU are a the "type" that would sit on your *** and do nothing while someone else worked does not mean that applies to all who earn no paycheck but work their asses off and go the "extra" mile to create something wonderful including productive chidren who may succeed in whatever they do and or are the backbone and support system for the one who does "earn" a paycheck.

The role of(primary) child rearing and home keeping(with no income) as demonstrated in this thread by some is completely undervalued.

There are pros and cons to staying at home dealing with the ins and outs of keeping a house and rearing children.Im trying to think of the pros..Your "boss" is two years old". You dont get paid.You are compared to a monkey..the work is physically and mentally exausting and you are isolated from other adults unless you make extra effort to find others "like you".You are shamed because where is the $1 bill you earned at the end of the day.The teacher(who gets paid) is calling to report your kid didnt do his project..Its time to vacume again..GOSH cant you clean your self up..your letting your self go!!!Why are you wearing those same sweat pants..

i dont think it is a bad thing i use to be a bread winner in my home i think if man can do a job so can a womanit isnt bought oh that is a man jobs its about who has more knowledge and can do better at the job and where the company is going to gorw there is to many sexist compaies out there jsut bc they are use to seeing men then when woman comes along to get a chance to do it they wont let her for the fact she is a woman

If you happen to be the type of guy who isn't okay with your wife/gf making more money than you, then don't date/marry the type of woman who will. If you don't care if you make less, and you're lucky enough to find a woman who will respect a man that she out-earns, then that's good also.
