Give me reasons to why somebody would convert to Christianity

I would assume what most forms of christianity have in common for what comes to worship would be the prayer Jesus taught on the bible.
Our Father
Who are in heaven
Sacred by thy name
Thy kingdom come to us
May your word be done on Earth in the way it is done on heaven.
Give us our daily bread
And forgive our traspasses, the same way we forgive those who traspass against us.
Do not let us fall into temptation and free of from evil.
Amen

Jehovah our God is One
for a christian, worship of Jehovah God (The Almighty Creator, not Jesus) involves the recognition of his sovereignty over our lives. He is the creator, he has the right to make the rules and we have an obligation to live by them.
But we live in a world which is opposed to Gods righteous standard and laws, yet our worship of God requires that we uphold Gods laws and standards regardless.
And doing things the way God wants involves more then just how we worship God, it involves how we live our life. God gave us life so that we may serve him in a certain capacity...so worship of God includes the recognition that we do not belong to ourselves, we do not have the right to live independently from him, but we must conform ourselves to be his servants and live for him.
prayer is a vital form of communication with God, it draws us closer to him, and openly talking to others about God and about his purposes is also vital to our worship because it is a sacrifice of praise to him.... we can't give him anything physical, we can only give him our praise, our devotion and use our resources (time and money) to do what he asks of us. So thats what we do... every day belongs to him and we are privileged to be apart of it so we give him thanks and uphold his laws, come together regularly to speak of him and thank him for all he has done for us.

OK. My 5-year-old son believed that adults were engaging in fairytale-ism when they denied the bogeymen in their closets. Adults were just trying to make themselves feel better by denying the bogeymen.
Everyone believes what they believe.
I believe that the concept of hell -- if taken seriously -- can do as much harm to the human psyche as the bogeyman in the closet can do to the minds of children. It's just what I believe. I can't help it.
Meanwhile, I thank goodness that my son's mind has matured as he has aged. He fears neither bogeymen in his closet nor the chance that he might go to an actual hell.

I have atheist friends that believe in the posibility of an afterlife.
Atheism merely means one does not believe in God. Anything other than that may be part of the person, but not of "atheism"

Thats just plain ridiculous.
Truth is beyond names. Names are merely vessels for truth, not the other way around for Waldo's sake.
We worship God. We worship God by following Jesus' commands to the best of our ability. We love God and praise God. Prayer isn't about "asking for things". In Church services, people sing songs that praise God. I've heard Farrakhan make fun of Christians for our singing- I am not sure what other Muslims think of that.
The best way to find out, would be to go to a service.

The majority of Atheists are Secular Humanists as far as I'm aware, using rational thinking to conclude there is no reason to believe in an afterlife. I know some buddhist atheists as well who believe in reincarnation, but I wasn't using them as an example here.

You used a blanket statement and said "all"
I certainly also have heard a lot of atheist who are not precisely skeptical with everything, nor are they very clear on thier stances and their reasonings bend them.
The only thing you know about someone who says is an atheist is that s/he doesnt believe in god. Any other thing is speculation.
