Give me reasons to why somebody would convert to Christianity

Why would somebody convert to Christianity?

Because they have decided to believe that religion's mythos; as is the case with any other religion they might choose to follow.

How do you christians worship god or Jesus. I am not saying how you "pray". That would mean asking god for stuff or like "dua" in Islam, which is my religion. How do you worship whoever you worship in Christianity

I do my best to do what Jehovah says. I'm lacking in fellowship with believers because the Bible supports some part of all of the organzations and derides some part of all of them. Me I just keep reading and trying.

Names are irrelevant.

If the bible got it wrong and his name was Waldo would all of you be doomed to hell?

Thats just plain ridiculous.

Truth is beyond names. Names are merely vessels for truth, not the other way around for Waldo's sake.

Are you sure it's ridiculous and the name of Jesus Christ is irrelevant?

I'm going to guess YES - As his name was not Jesus.

I am sure He is far more concerned with people being compassionate than with getting the name right.

As he said, not all who said "lord lord" but those who do thhe will of the Father.

This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:39-40

Yu missed the part where he said everyone who helps his borther and sister has helped him.

It gives a lot of good context on the meaning of "only through me you can go to the father"

Names are irrelevant. So, a wo/man visits me when I am in jail, feeds me when I am hungry, gives me cloth when I am naked.

What do I care if he doesnt know my name when so many people told him I was called so many different ways? Amd I to feel bad simply because he does not know the sound by which my moer decided to refer to me? Or should I just accept the love with which he treated me?

Why would Jesus be any less understanding?

I dont have such a low view of his understanding.

I have not missed the part of the scriptures about helping those in need, showing compassion, or loving one's enemy, but just as the scriptures stress the importance of these things they adamantly also stress the importance of believing in the one and only Savior of the world. The name of the Savior Jesus Christ is not irrelevant or it would not be the highlighted theme of the scriptures. You may insist it doesn't matter, but your opinion is against God's Word.

The Bible, at 1 John 5:3 says: "This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments." Knowing the truth about God and his Son, Jesus Christ, exercising faith in God and Christ, and following the Christ, are all features of true worship, I believe. (John 8:32, 17:3)

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here?

Jesus is not the name - so YOU are calling him by a different name.

And how is this name a "highlighted theme," other then normal usage, as he is the main character in the story?

Should they have said "hey you." or "that dude over there?" Of course they use a name.

The OT is a testimony pointing to the coming Savior/Messiah and the NT is a testimony revealing His coming, life, death, and resurrection to pay for the sins of the world and bring victory over death. The main highlighted theme of the scriptures is Christ, the Son of God as Savior.

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

And how does this change the fact that even YOU are not using the "actual" name, which kind of defeats the purpose of what you are saying here?
