God and logic

Is God truly omnipotent then he is not bound by the laws of logic however are there more limits after logic
How would his all-powerfulness unbind him from the laws of logic? If it does, I would assume then that for god illogic has equal standing with logic.

I have to ask. What do you think the laws of logic are? There are laws? Do tell! To add, in all probability, what we would consider as logical will be the equivelant of absolute blindness in regards to what a God or Creator would consider "logical."..... imo.

You might have well have said that the sky is the colour of fish, or the sound of pie. You're talking nonsense, and not even possible-in-theory nonsense, like Dr. Seuss. Your posts don't actually mean anything.

Friend high master,

Logic is what separates possible from impossible God the creator of everthing is the one who made both of them
Since *God the creator of everthing* which includes we humans.
Mind is what seperates us from God. Only in a still-mind is there Oneness with THAT God!

Actually, I have yet to find where common theistic belief in god breaches the laws of logic. Some ideas of god are illogical, such as god being all loving. However, logic can help out god a lot, like with the question "could god makes a stone so big even he could not lift it". If god is bound to logic, then this is logically incoherent and no threat. If god is not bound to logic, that question shows that he is not all powerful. Theists can have it whichever way they wish :)

The supernatural, by definition, defies logic.

No such thing exists as "supernatural". All that exists and happens is perfectly natural. Labeling something supernatural is just a way to dismiss or accept something we cannot fully and currently understand without deeper thought.

The "supernatural" can have a logic to it... but what is supernatural?

There can be a "logic" to something.

We use logic to solve problems or attain something..language can be seen as a tool but while it solves things it can also limit us. That is, as we define things we also place limits on them and there's a lot of things in the universe that appparently defies logic...supernatural or otherwise.;)

The supernatural is anything that is not subject to the laws of nature. God, if one is speaking of an omnipotent being, is by definition not subject to the laws of nature.
