Just some thoughts, off the top of my head:
Either increase or decrease the average intelligence of humans. Presently we're smart enough to screw things up, but not smart enough to realize it or curb our impact.
Chimps aren't screwing up the planet, and geniuses might have enough sense and foresight not to do so.
Change the average age of menarche to twenty. This would improve the health and economic welfare of both parents, children, and society.
Or:
Replace a monthly menses with a biannual estrus. This should help reduce our population and consequent environmental impact, as well as reduceing poverty and unwanted children.
If sexual attraction could be eliminated except during fertile periods so much the better. Young males could occupy themselves with something productive rather than chasing tail.
Eliminate human fear of insignificance and preoccupation with eternal life. This should pretty much eliminate the problem of religion.
Eliminate the size/strength dimorphism between the sexes. This should eliminate the sexual dominance of men over women

i'd defeat the cylons, once and for all.
i'd force everyone to dream about the same thing every night.
