Of course, God is more important! Stupid!

No god, Then there will be humans?

Because God created people, And create everything in the universe to feed people。

And God is everywhere;omniscient;omnipotent!

Protect humans anytime anywhere, So people can live a safe and prosperous life.

So, of course, God is more important!

Ok! So,Think of this as the standard answer for all those who believe that "God is more important."

Three-quarters of the world’s people believe in religion, that is, believe in the existence of God.

And unanimously believe that "God is more important"!

No matter what kind of god you believe in,Because this is not the point.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK! Then, think of this as the standard answer for all those who believe that "God is more important."

OK! that means there is still a quarter of not believing in religion,Of course, whether it is "atheism", "skepticism" or "agnosticism",In short, this quarter of people do not believe in God.

Then, one day, the most important thing happened to mankind.Anyone who believes in religion and believes in God has been led by a god of their own faith to a beautiful paradise.

Only 1/4 of the earth does not believe in God at all. Then, at this time, God is more important? Or is humanity more important?

Of course, people are more important! Right?

So, at this time, there is no relationship with God.Anyway, people continue to live the same way,No better, no worse.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Then if the asteroid hits the earth at this time,All earth creatures,Including humans,All extinct,Everything becomes silent.

No one,Then God is more important? Or is humanity more important?

still is God is more important?

What is a person? What is God?

Even this issue has no meaning at all.

------------------------------------------------------------

Then God is more important? Or is humanity more important?

Does the machine serve man or does man serve the machine?

As a father of two sons, my sons are more important than me and I exist to serve them with every possible capacity I am able to muster.

How did the world ever get so messed up as this that this question is even being asked!

In your 'Logical speculation exercises', God will always be important most important! Whether there is a God or not, whether, you believe there is a God or not; God will always be most important.

No matter what you believe Love is most important as God is Love, and for any society to survive and live in any sort of harmony we need Love, otherwise you are left with hate, and vanity of self.

I would say that God is more important because humanity needs God whereas God does not need humanity for anything at all...
“Your Lord, the God of mercy, can well dispense with all creatures. Nothing whatever can either increase or diminish the things He doth possess. If ye believe, to your own behoof will ye believe; and if ye believe not, ye yourselves will suffer.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 148
If God were to withhold His mercy and grace from the world for one moment, it would completely perish... Sounds pretty important to be.
“There can be no doubt whatever that if for one moment the tide of His mercy and grace were to be withheld from the world, it would completely perish. For this reason, from the beginning that hath no beginning the portals of Divine mercy have been flung open to the face of all created things, and the clouds of Truth will continue to the end that hath no end to rain on the soil of human capacity, reality and personality their favors and bounties. Such hath been God’s method continued from everlasting to everlasting.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 68

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
If God is true then humanity must align with what is true. If no God and true is true, then humanity must align with what is true.

You are either for or against justice and life true.

If you are against those things you become unimportant.

If you are for those things you are important.

The highest justice and life true is the most important. But all of justice and truth is important.

So if God is the highest justice and life and truth, God is more important then humanity.

But there are no false dichotomies with truth. No false balances. We are all meant to become the highest justice and life and truth.

So becoming true the true stand up for the true. No matter the rank.

Humanity is more important. If people seek and follow god (abrahamic) at the expense of someone else's physical and psychological well being, (edit) I see no benefit outside of ones ego to believe in god.

If humanity isn't more important than god, how can one make the greatest sacrifice when they can't sacrifice their belief for another person's wellbeing?

Neither. This world has been given too many chances at peace, life, love and prosperity. Each time we have ruined it. Politicians, terrorists, schools, the uneducated, the weak and the religious have poisoned the minds of the children of this world that grow into the problem.
The psychological goal of life is death - religion is a poison - humankind is a poison.

Humans have free will to do either good or evil and that is the fly in the ointment; it always was, it always will be.

A just person does not blame the religion that God revealed through His Prophets for what humans have done with His religion after it was revealed. Humans have misinterpreted the scriptures, distorted them, changed them to mean what they did not mean, just so they could have what they want, power and control over other people and superiority over other religions. NO religion ever taught any of that.

Religious people no longer follow what was originally revealed by the Prophets and that is why we needed -- and got -- a new Prophet, also referred to as a Messenger of God, His Manifestation.

“This is the Day when the loved ones of God should keep their eyes directed towards His Manifestation, and fasten them upon whatsoever that Manifestation may be pleased to reveal. Certain traditions of bygone ages rest on no foundations whatever, while the notions entertained by past generations, and which they have recorded in their books, have, for the most part, been influenced by the desires of a corrupt inclination. Thou dost witness how most of the commentaries and interpretations of the words of God, now current amongst men, are devoid of truth. Their falsity hath, in some cases, been exposed when the intervening veils were rent asunder. They themselves have acknowledged their failure in apprehending the meaning of any of the words of God.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 171-172

What is your evidence that free will exists? Is this a delusion that neurotypicals use to comfort themselves? My behaviors, without making any choice, tend to tell people I have Asperger's. I didn't choose to have depression, and I don't choose how my behaviors and habits are effected by it.
The psychological goal of life is death
That directly contradicts the drive for survival.

The evidence is that people make choices and that they are considered responsible for those choices thus held accountable for their actions in a court of law. The only exceptions are if someone is mentally ill, mentally challenged, or brain damaged. The reasons those are exceptions is that their mental functioning is impaired thus their free will (ability to choose) is impaired.

Free will does not mean we can choose to do “anything” we want to do. Free will is constrained by many factors such as childhood upbringing, heredity, education, adult experiences, and present life circumstances. How free we are varies with every given situation we find ourselves in. However, we have the ability to make choices within certain parameters. Otherwise, we would just be at the mercy of our past experiences and our heredity. If humans did not have free will how could we be responsible for our actions and held accountable in a court of law? That is not possible.

Free will only applies to making moral choices or life decisions like marriage and career choices, or even simpler things like you want to go to the grocery store or a movie or post on a forum.

Free will does not apply to the things we are compelled to do or things we have no control over, such as eating, sleeping, diseases, injuries, misfortunes, and death. You did not freely choose to be depressed but you can choose what to do about it,if anything.

We are not responsible for the things we are compelled to do or the things which we have no control over, we are only responsible for the moral choices we make, such as being nice to someone or mean, rude or courteous. Am I going to give a struggling tenant the boot, or wait for him to pay the rent? I have a choice.

You would not be on this forum posting if you did not make a choice to do so. God did not make you do it so it had to be your choice since there is nobody else here. Only if someone is incarcerated do they lose the freedom of choice. That is why going to prison is the worst punishment, other than getting the death sentence, which also takes away your choice to live.

Question.—Is man a free agent in all his actions, or is he compelled and constrained?

Answer.—This question is one of the most important and abstruse of divine problems. If God wills, another day, at the beginning of dinner, we will undertake the explanation of this subject in detail; now we will explain it briefly, in a few words, as follows. Some things are subject to the free will of man, such as justice, equity, tyranny and injustice, in other words, good and evil actions; it is evident and clear that these actions are, for the most part, left to the will of man. But there are certain things to which man is forced and compelled, such as sleep, death, sickness, decline of power, injuries and misfortunes; these are not subject to the will of man, and he is not responsible for them, for he is compelled to endure them. But in the choice of good and bad actions he is free, and he commits them according to his own will.

The evidence is that people make choices and that they are considered responsible for those choices thus held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
That doesn't prove free will, and nor does the scientific evidence that we come to a conclusion before we are consciously aware of the conclusion.

Free will is constrained by many factors such as childhood upbringing, heredity, education, adult experiences, and present life circumstances.
Constrained means that calling it free will is at best a misnomer and strawman.

No, constrained means constrained. We have free will but it is constrained by many factors, so we are not always free to do whatever we want to do.
A river doesn't freely flow when it is dammed up, though it flows along its forced path without consideration to the ways in which external forces take away its free flow.

Humans are not rivers. There is no forced path.
The worst misconception anyone can have is that they have no free will.
I cannot do everything I want to do but I can do some things I want to do.
Nothing is so black and white as to say we have no choices at all.
That would make us into complete victims of past and present circumstances.
Anyone would be depressed if they believed that.
It would be like being in prison.

Anyone would be depressed if they believed that.
Yet that isn't the case. Myself, by denying free will, it opened my eyes to many previously unseen and unacknowledged factors influencing me, because it forced me to think about who I am and why I do the things I do.
That would make us into complete victims of past and present circumstances.
We are products of our environment, victims of how our childhood shaped us.

While its true that the environment shapes who we are, and makes us victim to the past, present, and future. Who we are does not necessarily have to be defined by what we go through.

I am convinced that there are knowledges that free and enable people's hearts, minds, and wills.

Some things rest solely with the individual. What is good forever does not turn evil, what is evil forever does not turn good.

There are temporal choices, and forever choices. Anything temporal is subject to possible change. A forever choice is not changeable. It all happens by one's own volition.

Once you know that your own heart is your own choices, you become self aware.

Nobody can force your own heart to become something it will not ever choose for itself. Even in the face of deceptions and illusions, and delusions, only you choose who you are through it all. Even in the face of total victimhood, you choose who you are.
