Do you think that this actually happens?
Speaking precisely, theism is a certain idea of God, namely a supernatural creator. I'm a panentheist, not a theist.
That God is a superorganism whose body is the cosmos. As a panentheist, what do you believe in?
That "[God] sits us down and tells us to follow him".Do I actually believe what happens?
Jesus determined God would be the parent of humans?
That "[God] sits us down and tells us to follow him".

Yep.interesting, that reminds me of a thought I had the other day...
if millions and millions of cells working together make up a body, and millions of bodies working together make up a government, would you not consider a government to be a living organism?
So do you believe that we are like cells or parts of cells in comparison to God?
Who said I found it confusing? If that is so I can see how you would find the Bible so confusing and contradictory, to you the Bible is pretty much just popular vote or opinion is it not?
Yep.
Who said I found it confusing?
So do you believe God can have children?
And do you believe God can speak to man?
I find it kind of difficult to try and communicate
With the cells in my body. I doubt if I were to try and ask the skin cell on my thumb how his day was that it would be able to understand me.
When it grows up, sure.So do you believe God can have children?
Not exactly, for precisely the reasons you say.And do you believe God can speak to man?

I think the Bible says this happened, but I don't think it actually did.I believe that. That is what Christ did, said come follow me, taught us how, then ascended into heaven. Did he not?
I think the Bible says this happened, but I don't think it actually did.
No, I don't.So you don't think Christ actually came said follow me, taught how, then ascended into heaven? What do you think actually happend?
When it grows up, sure. .
Not sure, but I believe our Godiverse is a juvenile. So how old do you think God needs to be, or how grown up do you think God needs to be in order to have children?
No, I don't.
In general terms, what I think is most likely is that a regular human religious leader gained a following and then after his death, his followers built up a mythology around him, maybe drawing some of it from other sources (I mean apart from the Jewish mythology that the story is steeped in)... but this is just supposition on my part. If someone came up with a compelling case for how Jesus wasn't a historical figure at all and was entirely mythic, I might be convinced if the argument was strong enough.
