Who is that? Arwen's sister?
Nope, he's a turbo manly elf! (Actually, he seems to be more of a fan created character, these fans being that rare breed known as fangirls. The name, apparently comes from seeing the Council scene and thinking ""Frodo is grea...who is THAT?!?")

More information (including other people who are questioning the gender of said character) can be found here.

It's McLeod, not McCloud (I know that's how he pronounces it though). To that I'll add:

The Kurgan - Highlander - Clancy Brown

Tarzan/John Clayton - Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes - Christopher Lambert

Hmm...I'll try to think of some more - other people have already posted a few I'd have said. ;)
as an aside check out fiona macleaod visionary poet/story tellers work...he/she is v interesting.....anyone interested in celtic stuff will be interested

Richard Burton, Donald Sutherland to name two; Richard Burton was incredible (But I never liked Liz Taylor for some reason). Donald Sutherland I remember from a film (Can't remember title) - end of second World War Tank Driver who was a drunk hippy; went into a German occupied town (I shall never forget this bit) - and fired at a Panzer Tank that couldn't bring his turret round to bear on the US one, The gunner in the US tank Fires, and because they'd got no shells left, they'd filled up the cases with paint!. I was just going to say "Please someone tell me the name of the film?" but I have just remembered - Kelly's heroes!!!!! (Hey, some of that grey matter still works!)
:jiggy:
Yeah that was it. Good cast in that film with Sutherland as Sgt. Oddball. Clint Eastwood, Don Rickels, Carrol O'Connor, Telly Sevalis. Also a bit dark too.

Hehee, I should've known you were joking, Majikthise! (And now that I look at it, that apple is rather prominent.)

NFTY? I'm afraid I'm completely ignorant when it comes to abbreviations. (And I was wondering where you were. Glad to have you back!) I'm afraid I haven't read all of Bagenders, only bits of it. I loved the illustrations of some of the stories, though!

My two most recent sigs were from Frodo-
" Have agreed to carry Ring to Mordor. In hindsight, probably a bad move."
And, of course, Theoden.
" Where is the horse and the rider? No, seriously, where are they? That was my favorite horse. "

Peter Weller as Bukaroo Banzai......"The duece you say!"

"EVIL, PURE AND SIMPLE ,FROM THE EIGHTH DIMENSION!!!"

John Lithgow as Dr. Emilio Lizardo ....."Damned is your soul and a' doomed is your life!"
Peter Weller has always gotten interesting character roles.
One of my favorite John Lithgow character roles was the one in THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP.

EVIL DEAD SERIES- Bruce Campbell is the star in this trilogy horror as Ash, a gun-totin’, chainsaw wielding warrior..GROOVY!!

BASKET CASE- Duane and Belial are Siamese twins separated at birth Duane has the looks and Belial has the killing instinct in Frank Henenlotter’s comedy horror series BASKET CASE.

THE NUTTY PROFESSOR-This ain’t no Eddie Murphy lemon, this is your Daddy’s NUTTY PROFESSOR, complete with Jerry Lewis (who also directed) and stands as one of the most interesting example of characterization done right in movies today. Other great Jerry Lewis character stand-outs; THE ERRAND BOY, CINDERFELLA, THE BELLBOY.

TOMMY-Jack Nicholson sings, Keith Moon as Uncle Ernie, Paul Nichols as Cousin Kevin, Tina Turner as the Acid Queen, Eric Clapton as the preacher and Elton John as the Pinball Wizard.

JAMES BOND-Though everyone has their favorites the men who have embodied the role of 007 have done a great justice to the celluloid myth regarding this secret agent. SEAN CONNERY, ROGER MOORE, PEIRCE BRONSON.

BREWSTER McCLOUD- Brewster (Bud Cort) is an owlish, intellectual boy who lives in a fallout shelter of the Houston Astrodome. A very quirky comedy directed by Robert Altman.

CLEOPATRA JONES- 70’s exploitation flick with Tamara Dobson in the title role. The movie promises and delivers that “She's "Ten Miles of Bad Road" For Every Hood in Town!”

WILD AT HEART-Another David Lynch film with both Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern at the helm.

CRYBABY-Johnny Depp is a love-struck hoodlum from the wrong side of the tracks in this John Water’s 50’s musical.

THE GODFATHER-Marlon Brando as the don will be the movie that most remember him from, it was also considerate of him to reprise the role in the Matthew Broderick vehicle THE FRESHMAN.

THE DOORS-Whether you enjoy the group or not, you can’t help that Val Kilmer nailed the character of Jim Morrison perfectly.

DOLEMITE-Rudy Ray Moore is the bad-*** foul mouth, jive talking mobster that spawned two more sequels-THE HUMAN TORNADO and DISCO GODFATHER.

NATURAL BORN KILLERS-Oliver Stone’s Mickey (Woody Harrelson) and Mallory (Juliette Lewis) are two homicidal lovers on a road trip to destruction.

CLOCKWORK ORANGE-Who will ever forget Malcolm McDowell’s performance of the disturbed Alex de’ Large in Stanley Kubrik’s CLOCKWORK ORANGE.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC-Julie Andrews performance of Sister Maria and Christopher Plummer’s stalwart portrayal of the father of the von Trapp family.

ELVIRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK-A lot of credit goes to Cassandra Peterson for making the character her own and at least showcasing her “talents”. Another movie that wasn’t half bad was ELVIRA’S HAUNTED HILLS.

WHERE’S POPPA-George Segal plays a lawyer in love and Ruth Gorden is the mother that won’t let him be. Directed by Carl Reiner so you know it has to be funny.

(to be continued)

Woah, Sorry I mispelled MacCleod. I had a martial arts teacher whos last name was spelled McCloud, and it was late, so I guess I confused the two. :) Woops!!!! As for Frank Dukes, the real person blows Van Damme out of the water. They could've got a better fighter for the movie. However, Daniel Bernhardt kicked A** in Bloodsport 2 and 3.

I'll add...
Dumbledore (the original)
Toad - Ray Park - X-men (He's going to play Iron Fist :) )
Spiderman - Tobey McGuire
The half werewolf, half vampire in Underworld (forget his name)
Let's not forget Sebulba - Star Wars Episode 1

Thats all for now.

Jim Malone ( Sean Connery) (The Untouchables)

David (kiefer Sutherland) (The Lost Boys)

Returning Noob
My favorite character from Lost Boys was Michael. Yummmmmmmmmmm Oh and the Husky (Nanook)
I also love Lestat, (Tom Cruise and Stewart Townsend) and Louis (lewee)

All characters of the Harry Potter Movies. (They picked the perfect looking kid to fit Draco Malfoy's character.)
