LOL some of those on the list are so incredibly petty. I mean, a boner? Really?

For me, it comes to one simple thing - if a man isn't jumping through hoops just to be in the same room as me, he isn't dateable. Once he starts doing that, then I'll give a second look. Otherwise, I just look and admire from a distance.

My reason is clear. I'm worth it.

The list is faulty.
Hawaiian shirts are #73.

Some others are questionable:
#42 - Your bike club might require a chain wallet.
#95 - Crocs are OK when canoeing.
#68 - Cartoon voices rule! (when well done & cool....Warner Bros, Futurama, Simpsons = OK. Disney = not cool)

Here's the thing, a real man can do, have, or flaunt any of those things on the list and still get a date. And any real woman knows that.

So is Dungeons and Dragons and Attending Geek Conventions.

I think those things are just fine.

Now, let's talk obvious and try a little buzzkill in this thread......how about "no means no"? And a man who doesn't respect my boundaries?

His *** is out on the curb before he can say, "Mystic, PLEASE!"

That just might call your dataebility into question.

Boundaries are there to be explored, but one should honor survey stakes.

Does he stimulate my mind?

Does he know how to have a meaningful conversation?

Does he have a sense of humor? Especially about himself?

And finally.....will he submit to my authority and my punishments?

Funny list! But some of the items? Either don't belong there at all or are really not close to date-stoppers... I mean, I wouldn't turn down a guy with a blue tooth, for goodness sake... Dirty hair or dying his hair, though? Woah, happy medium, please! And we won't even go into the other appearance/behavior related issues, or the "creepily into mom" one... *shudder*

And using the "C" word. To be fair, though, that depends on the context. ;)

LOL We all have our standards, don't we?

Boundaries are there to be explored, but one should honor survey stakes.

Boundaries can be explored to be understood to the fullest. But for me, "no" absolutely means "no." Once established and respected, let's talk.

I missed these on the list, but I think they should be added:
- Furvert
- Living in his car
- Living in his parents' car
- Living with his parents in their car

Traits of undateable women:
- Explaining that big thighs were caused by ice skating as a youth.
- Shoulder pads
- Pancake makeup
- Saying, "You can't hug a child with nuclear arms."
- Not knowing who Dr Zoidberg is
- Deadly heels

according to this list I am unwantable......

(cry)

Don't believe it. It's mostly a petty list.

That would be like if I listened to people who say that women who are over the age of _____, with stretch marks, a love for all things Monty Python, who speaks her mind, or flaunts her stuff without shame are undateable. Screw 'em.
