This is not about what you thought at the time you voted, but in considering everything Trump has done since being elected, do you think Hillary would be doing as bad, worst or better than Trump?

I think the fact that she would have been more careful with her words would make her a better president. Trump can't seem to just ignore the bad press and move on.This is not about what you thought at the time you voted, but in considering everything Trump has done since being elected, do you think Hillary would be doing as bad, worst or better than Trump?

This is an important aspect of basic competence. It is necessary to be able to slough off bad press and unfair accusations to do the job.I think the fact that she would have been more careful with her words would make her a better president. I couldn't agree more. Trump has the thinnest skin and most fragile ego I've ever seen in any politician. This is an important aspect of basic competence. It is necessary to be able to slough off bad press and unfair accusations to do the job.
Trump doesn't have that, and he made it clear before the election. Imagine the outcome if Hillary had sunk as low as a Twitter battle with one of Slick Willies paramours, the way Trump did with Mechado.

She would have been far less embarrassing too. The rest of the world wouldn't be laughing at us so hard. She would be objectively more competent and suitable for the role, but she would have been mired in Republican obstructionism. It would probably have been worse than what we saw with Obama. I doubt that she would have been able to accomplish much.
However, we would be talking about inappropriate pant suits rather than inappropriate Russian liasons, so that's something.
I also think Trump has more to hide than Hillary did. As a private citizen he could keep his corruption private. As a public servant he has to actually face the music. He can't just lie to the "media" or the public the way he did to investors and contractors and clients.I couldn't agree more. I don't think that's true. Unlike Obama, she had a ton of Washington insider connections and information and clout. She could have pursued her agenda in ways that neither Trump nor Obama are able.It would probably have been worse than what we saw with Obama. I doubt that she would have been able to accomplish much.
Yeah, the way that he used his wealth to bully contractors and lied in order to intimidate property owners that he wanted to take advantage of is not covered nearly enough in the media. He was a despicable business man.I also think Trump has more to hide than Hillary did. As a private citizen he could keep his corruption private. The media, to the extent that there still is a "media" , largely ignored Trump's lies and past history. Benghazi and Email server got more hits and sold more advertising.Yeah, the way that he used his wealth to bully contractors and lied in order to intimidate property owners that he wanted to take advantage of is not covered nearly enough in the media. About the same. The presidency is only 1/3 of the government. The President has limited powers. They still have to deal with Congress and the Supreme Court. Without their cooperation there's not a lot the POTUS can do. Every single congress person and every Justice of the SCOTUS have individual motivations and agendas. The POTUS is only one person and has to figure out how to deal with it all.
The presidency was never meant to be an equal player in governmental power, the founding-fathers feared giving that much power to any one person. Congress was intended to have most of the power, but due to changes of the modern world, a growing use of executive orders and the how poorly the Constitution outlines what exactly is "executive power" the power of the presidency has grown beyond what was intended. At some point the power of the presidency needs to be curtailed, but good luck finding a president who will willingly give up power.
