Friend Francine,
God as a concept cannot be seen but if understood is seen all around every moment including what the mirror shows you.

18No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,[e][f]who is at the Father's side, has made him known. (John 1)

Let's see, if God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side has made God known, I'd say that means God was seen in Jesus.

Then there's this:
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

(Matthew 25)

Can't brain. Has dumb.
A little girl was at the table, furrowed brow, intensly concentrated, drawing a picture.

"What are you drawing?"
"I'm drawing God mummy!" And she holds the picture up for mummy to see
Mummy smiles and looks at her daughter
"But how can you dear? No-one's seen God before"

"Well," said the girl, "If you'd just let me finish!"

This is in accord with scriptures, which says:

Rom.1:[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Given the simple fact that I have met "god" in the form of Vishnu, I can attest to the truth of this statement. What it is saying is that by being in the presence of god, one, by default, understands their eternal nature. It's a bit hard to miss, if the truth be told. To go one further, those moments are timeless, so, in a sense, part of me is still hovering in front of that massive image, basking in the radiating loving glow. Wish you were here... and so does "he".

Well, it's not like John (and others) actually know what they are talking about, lol. For those who do not believe it is possible, their experience will quite necessarily mirror their expectations. It's a pity and a bit of a shame really. They have little idea what they are missing out on and so they seek the cold comforts of illusory concepts created by others like themselves. In some ways, it's almost tragic, really - the poor blighters.

Heck, I expect people to doubt me and my claim. It is all quite healthy, really. The simple fact is, that on this topic, I really don’t give a damn what others think, as I believe that they are simply perceiving the mirror of their own understanding. Reality has no choice in such situation but to conform to their wishes, no matter how erroneous. I am, however, quite aware that the same principle applies to me, but there is a nasty truth that I understand perfectly what precipitated the event of my experience and see if rather clearly for what it is.

The simple fact is, that one can indeed “see” god… although it does take a bit of effort. In essence you have to desire it more than anything else and believe that you are quite worthy of the experience. You also have to be self-realized.

It would seem that God is a black man, who bears striking resemblance to Morgan Freeman.

Friends,
It is only when all seeing stops that god IS.
So how can god be seeing?

God looked like George Burns, a Jewish man, in Oh, God. That does make since.;)

Moses only saw God's "Back Parts".

When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other - This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!" (Joseph Smith)
