So, I didn't.
I'm Cricket, and I'm a Canuck .
I'm currently doing some serious soul searching...I lost my father last summer, suddenly, and it rocked my world. We were very close. Suddenly, I had to examine all my nebulous ideas and I felt the urge to define what it is that I believe so that I could find some peace, even if in the end, I was Atheist... At the risk of being melo-dramatic, it has evolved over the past months into a full on spiritual journey.
I haven't identified as Christian for years...I sort of assumed myself to be Pagan, but upon further examination, I don't know that I am. I can't get my head around poly-theism, for one thing. But I'm very leary of Judeo-Christian faiths at this time in my life and am still reeling from 18 years of Catholicism, including Catholic school.
In any case, I'm currently researching and soul-searching a bit, as I said...I asked some questions in the Quaker thread, and am considering attending a meeting, but I don't know where I'll end up. I'm just trying to be patient with myself and work out what I think and feel about everything.
Other than that, I'm a 30 y/o stay at home mom of 2 little kids, married to a wonderful guy who DOES identify as a Christian, but is not currently attending services. I'm also a musician, a holistic nutritionist and herbalist, love cooking, gardening and all manner of domesticity.
Thanks for having me and I'm enjoying reading the many threads here.
