Astral travel is usually achieved either by a deep meditative state, or by dream control. I know an easier way to do it then that.

Oh just a little focusing technique you can use if you know how to still your mind almost effortlessly. You can focus on an empty space, and then begin to put things in it, and by the time you've put your sacred symbol and a door, you can astral project.

Read again. I never said they don't work, I said that Astral projection and drug don't really go together.
You know all, I'm sorry I would rather talk about this like adult then to make drug joke about something other take serious.

I have, many times. I haven't done it much lately though.
I've used salvia divinorum for astral projection, and it is legal in all but a few states.

Usually the method I use to astral travel makes it easy for me to control the situation. Either through the method I mentioned, or through dream control. If you can learn dream control you control the whole experience.

It's been awhile, but I have projectile vomitted before.
I'm curious: how do you differentiate between dreams, lucid dreaming, neuronal disinhibition in the visual cortex and activity in the right tempoparietal region from OBEs and astral projection?

nope never....
I have participated in ritual magic though...which is very similar
but one need not leave the body, as I was taught that can be dangerous....
the invisble lands are like walking naked on a busy highway during rush hour....
one really needs as many safety belts as possible
I tend to differentitate astral projection in that you can see your body, then again I may have within a group one time...but thats not for public consumption
