Hmmm, no. It was more saucer-shaped as a round disc. No tail. No markings. And the picture doesn't show underneath the craft. That was where I saw three "exhaust" looking rings.

Think of an inverted contact lens. All black. Shiny. And silent. If the USAF had been testing out spycraft on our small town in 1993, we didn't think it was from them.

I was about to ask what people thought of that bizarre phenomina witnessed in Russia a few years ago, with the weird lights in the sky, but then I found out just this last November another odd incident in Russia happened.

This lighting up of the sky is not at all like something I saw many years ago, which I suspect was a meteor (or other space chunk) that was very large and skimming over the atmosphere.
It also reminds me of how much I hate it when new news buries the old news in Google, because I have never had difficulties finding that older light incident until now.

In the 90's I was living in Melbourne. There was a platform on the roof of the old house I lived in where we would sit and drink, chat and watch the sky. One moonlit night a shadow about the size and shape of a cigarette butt held at arms length passed slowly across the disc of the full moon. There were three of us watching it.

They're closer. Yeah, the saucer was sleek. The dome on top wasn't angular, wasn't flat, but certainly wasn't as "bubble"-like as some of the pictures show.

All black. Shiny. I don't remember windows, so it's possible either way.

That seems really really crude compared to what I saw. Thought it's closer than the last picture you linked to. After getting over the initial "whoa" feeling, and letting it slip into memory, I began to appreciate just how amazing and beautiful of a craft it was. Three "exhaust" circles on the underside, sleek and shiny. All black. Saucer-disc-dome shaped. Most of all, though, was that it was silently gliding north, and then stopped completely, and then silently accelerated up into the stratosphere eastward.

I dont know, I dont believe in this kind of photos because this issue is abused so much by people. The UFO which I ve seen before was from really really so close distance and it was disappeared within 3-4 seconds, so it was like "yoow look at us baby but you are not allowed to take photo, hasta la vista ." So I dont think that its possible to take their photos from so close distance, therefore we will continue to see the videos of some light spots from miles away under "ufo" title on Youtube

Ha. I know what you mean, but no. Not in the definition of paranormal means.

Simple question. A ufo that was 'different' enough to be labeled such, and clearly seen, not a glimpse.

It turned out to be a blimp, that combined with the light was facing us in such a position that it looked liked a saucer. Until it started to turn direction anyway.
