He IS my President

Luciferi Baphomet

Lucifer, is my Liberator
Donald Trumps success is accomplishing what he has set out to do, build a wall, ban Muslims, deport Mexicans, veto the ACA, eliminate regulations to protect the environment, reduce taxes for millionaires and corporations, reduce Social Security payments, privatize Medicare etc etc etc. All of these things are bad for America, wishing Trump success is wishing all these bad things to happen, if you support that, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
If they don't want to become a citizen of the U.S. then they will get deported.

I believe he will do well though. He does support the constitution.
Is that why he chimed in to "Lock her up!" in regards to Hillary, which he just repeated a few days ago? He has already made some erroneous statements about the Constitution that simply are not found within it or that violate it, but maybe he'll eventually learn-- and soon, I hope!

If I was a betting man, I'd bet my house that you're wrong on that because of the logistics involved, much like I'd bet my house you ain't gonna see a wall over the roughly 1700 miles of border with Mexico.

My circle is full of folks from the left. Needless to say, today is a rough day for some. I keep seeing this "notmypresident" hashtag thrown around. Donald Trump is the president of the US, I am a citizen of the US, Donald Trump is my president. I didn't vote for him this time around. I am skeptical and cautious. With that said, he is my president. From now, he has a fresh start in my mind. Up until now, it was media, campaigning, rallies, etc. I am willing to let all of that go because now he is in the position to govern. A very different position to be in. I am hopeful but cautious.

He is the president that is for sure and to the "notmypresident" hashtag.....Fact is, if you are an American Citizen..... Trump is your President for the next 4 years whether you like it or not.

To say that "he is my president" is either a simple statement of fact or vapid and obsequious drivel.

And your responsibility.

It is, in fact, a childish and vapid argument. #NotMyPresident is simple shorthand for #NotMy ChoiceForPresident, nothing else.

Oh yeah I have been seeing that on twitter. If those who hate Trump and don't want him to be their president then they are welcome to move out of the U.S. No one is forcing them to live here.
As are all those who love Trump and support his incompetence (you are aware of his incompetence, aren't you?) and his asinine ideas. There are ships leaving port all the time. Bon voyage to all the Trumpetts aboard.

vapid and obsequious drivel...interesting response.....although I am not exactly sure you know what obsequious means....and it obviously was not vapid since it elicited such a response..... but to quote Hamlet.... The poster "doth protest too much, methinks".

Hopefully he does well. The people that confuse me the most are the ones who actively want to see him fail.
Who wants to see him fail? That would be WW3 and nuclear winter. Everyone is hoping his 'policies' fail, which I think he was bs'n the conservatives in America to get into office. He's flip flopped on a lot of his 'policies,' which is a good thing. No one wants Trump to succeed in repealing the ACA. Among other things.

He conned his way into office, with a little russian help.

Optimistic bubbles have a way of popping on those who hold to them too tightly.

From 2012 Obama?

This is my thank you Obama post. Obama just pulverized McCain and rightly so in 2008. McCain was a putz. On the other hand, Obama was a fresh Senator from Illinois who spoke well and looked the part. I think he made some positive changes then, but then petered out and got caught up in the politics. He could've made some big changes then, but decided to focus on the Obamacare battle. It just got the votes it needed to pass, but we found out as it came to fruition that it was a hastily put together plan. He was a mixed bag in the Middle East. Ok, I don't blame him getting us involved as I do not think we had much choice. He did get Bin Laden (which Bush should've done), so that part was great. Obama was on a roll, but he just couldn't deliver the social changes. By the time the next election rolled around, he lost a lot of his supporters, but his excellent campaign crew and Mitt Romney not following through on his first debate victory won him a second term. Mitt wasn't as aggressive as Trump, but what politician can get away with it? Sure, Obama accomplished some things during his second term, but I thought he could've done it during his first. He caved in to NSA spying and that was the worst. He also caved to Iran and nuclear arms. Not only that, he didn't create the type of jobs he promised. He created a lot of part-time ones.

Congratulations on your new president!
It wouldn't make sense to say he isn't my president. I just hope some of his main policies fail. Here's a few examples..

-Wall
-Repealing ACA
-Removing regulations
-Cutting taxes for the 1%

He's already hinted at flip flopping with a few things, so I'm happy the policies are failing.
