As you well are aware I disapproved of many of the Obama's policies, but at least I wasn't shallow enough to just disapprove of them because they were Obama's; I gave my reasons and or counter argument.
I would at least expect honest reasons vice a frivolous response.

Especially since it was Republicans, including some here at RF, who were incensed at Obama's approach using executive orders but now appear to have conveniently forgotten what they were whining and ranting about. Their utter hypocrisy is astounding.

Which Executive actions has President Trump taken that would normally require Congressional action.
I think the majority of us that disagreed with the Obama's actions was twofold. One being what the Executive Order affected and the second going around Congress.

The big ones:

- killing provisions of the ACA
- approving the DAPL
- muzzling federal agency staff
- freezing government hiring
- restricting refugees and visas from certain Muslim-majority countries
- taking the first steps toward a border wall

As you well are aware I disapproved of many of the Obama's policies, but at least I wasn't shallow enough to just disapprove of them because they were Obama's; I gave my reasons and or counter argument.

As much as I dislike Pence, he has two advantages over Trump:

- So far, Trump's policies seem to me to be as bad or worse than Pence's.
- Pence strikes me as more stable and thick-skinned than Trump, who seems as concerned with threats to his ego as with governing.

I do agree that Pence does have much thicker skin than Trump (which, let's be honest, that does not take much), but Pence has already said my rights are beneath religious bigotry (and tried to make it legally so). I wasn't even going to vote until Trump picked Pence because Pence truly believes Conservative Christian ideology is perfect for running a state.

Yeah, I have seen/read/heard about this. And yes, things already aren't looking good. One of the main fears I had when first realizing he had the chance to win was the face he'd put on our diplomatic relations. And he's off to a sweepingly awful start.

Ya, I feel the same way, but in his defense I will say that Pence, imo, is much more mentally stable and morality-driven than Trump.
