Heath Ledger found dead.

Honestly folks, I think the best way to get back at these guys would be to tie them up and put them in a gay pride parade.

A little Bondage & Domination never hurt anyone, but they might like it too much. The idea is to punish them, remember?

I can't say I didn't see this coming.

Looks like our good friends at Westboro Baptist Church will be at it again.

Actually, as it's entirely likely his family will have him brought home to be buried, it's probably a moot point. I'd love to see them come over here and give their crap a good go though...assuming they were allowed in the country, they certainly wouldn't get very far with a protest at a funeral.

Isn't Mr Ledger's funeral going to be in Perth?
Even if this impoverished little band of Baptist vagabonds somehow does make it to Australia, I doubt if the authorities there would put up with any picketing.

What these slime will more than likely do is find a place to picket in the U.S. Probably in front of a memorial site or in front of his apartment in New York.

You don't have to limit yourself to Westboro folks. What Phelps says is creeping around inside a lot of religious conservatism anyway, slipping out here and there, even from those who generally have the sense not to be too blatant about it. John Gibson is a good example of the latter.

Like it or not . . . Phelps says what a lot of religious people think, but know not to say except around those they believe to be in agreement with their approach to others.

No doubt the slime that is Westboro Baptist Church will be making their way over there. I wish there was some way to ship these people to some remote island in Antartica.

It seems a lot of people weren't really aware of the Phelps family till they starting picketing soldiers' funerals. They've been picketing us for years, and as long as they concentrated on us, the other Christians weren't so upset with them. I can't tell you how many times a Christian told me, "Well, I don't agree with what they're doing, but I understand why they're doing it."

But that Esau guy? He HATED him.

Malachi 1:2-3 "Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness."

Romans 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."

Ledger to be buried in Perth: US reports
Looks like a memorial service in LA and the funeral in Perth.
Phelps was interviewed on a current affairs program here today...despite the fact he looked like a right goose and the parting comment from the interviewer was something along the lines of she hopes one day he gets to meet 'his' god, I'm pretty disgusted they gave the man any airtime whatsoever.:sarcastic

That is a very good point. lol!

I will always strive to love everyone, be forgiving, and be tolerant. I try to be honest with myself and others though, and above all else we musn't be "fake.":p(not saying u r, but that i would be if i tried to love them). The way I see it with these people...

Instead of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you," the moral lesson becomes, "do unto others BEFORE they do unto you."

I would happily bury them alive and picket the event before i would let them picket the death of anyones child who died overseas.

That is what freaks me out the most, and ticks me off the most about religion and people. People can make it so evil. I am afraid that reality is scarier than fiction, and that if anything ever happened to the stability of the country, people such as this among others would make the place a living breathing horror flick.

he was a stupid person, he had everything, money, fame, and good health, to bad he didn't spend more time gazing at the stars and wondering, or sitting by the ocean as the tide came in, or spendng a quiet lazy summer afternoon on the banks of a woodland stream, or gaze into the eyes of a new born who's mind is not yet tainted. To bad he was so stupid and self centered.

You have reminded me why I do not like people in general.
