Here's a scary thought...

I beg to differ. The unchecked ambition of billionaire oligarchs, becoming increasingly open about having politicians in their pockets, should concern us all.

That, and wealth distribution matters. There is a direct correlation between the rich getting richer, and the poor getting poorer.
There may be a small minority that looks at Trump like a savior, but I don’t think that’s what got him elected at all.

Okay, how about journalist Glenn Greenwald? He’s not exactly a conservative.

“Anything to avoid having to confront and grapple with the real rot at the heart of the Democratic Party: its corporatism and militarism which produces major benefits for a small clique of American liberal elites, while leaving everyone else ignored and abused. I've often said that the two most accountability-free professions on the planet are politics and punditry. No matter how much they fail, they never acknowledge their failures, find someone else to pin the blame on, and just merrily continue in their positions of now-rapidly diminishing influence and power. That is exactly what we're seeing right now, an attempt to shift the blame onto anybody other than the actual culprits, which are themselves. “

“And then you look at who represents the Democratic Party: multimillionaires like Hillary and Bill Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama with their gigantic estates on Martha's Vineyard, and then you have Kamala Harris, who just constantly looks like she just got out of a board meeting of some Fortune 500 company. And she's like in the general counsel of a health insurance company. That's what she gives off. And that is the image of the Democratic Party. And it's not just their image, it's their policies as well. They're the ones sending billions and billions of dollars over to Ukraine and billions and billions of dollars to finance the war in Gaza and allowing people's neighborhoods and people's economic situation to crumble. I think Bernie Sanders is right, at least to the extent he deserves credit for saying let's look at what's wrong with us, not what's wrong with the American voters.”

Glenn Greenwald is irrelevant as well. Why do you take the word of these conservative grifters and think tanks?
That's your problem. You should get your information from experts and credible news organizations.
I understand that all your conservative information sources teach you to never trust legitimate news. smh.

What do you consider legitimate experts or news sources?

What do you consider legitimate experts or news sources?
People that are credible and have journalistic integrity. Major news channels and organizations have rigorous hiring protocols, etc.

But Trump doesn't have the brains of Musk. That's the danger in the combination.
I don't think even Musk has the brains attributed to him.
Look what he did to Twitter.
Danger is posed by having an authoritarian anti-democratic
agenda. Brains appear far less a factor.

Someone's in the background working hard. Even Trump's endorsement words for his administration picks no longer sound like him, or his previous writing staff.

... and the "Hyperloop", and the Boring Company, and most of the Tesla projects, and his Mars base project (which is connected to the failures of SpaceX).
That guy is 90% vapourware. Much like Trump.
