I'm glad. Enjoy

Not really. Having a "spooky" themed day of revelry every year; when children dress up in costumes and eat confectionary is innocent fun. To think that alone somehow glorifies the Devil is absurd. That's not to say there's no danger in Halloween. People who use the festival as an opportunity to engage in the occult (Ouija boards, Tarot based divination, ect) do cross the line into sin. Allhallowtide should be a somber time overall. The fun and games of Halloween should shift into into the pious remembrance of the saints (All Hallows') and then the departed (All Souls'). The only unfortunate part concerning Halloween is that the secular, commercialized event has eclipsed the rest of the triduum.Halloween is certainly a mockery.
One neighbor complained to the other neighbor and the other neighbor said she knew her teen daughter had corn to throw.Sounds like the parents should have been around.
This lady belongs to a certain religion. But she'll celebrate anything from another religion as long as it suits her, even if it contradicts what her religion teaches. Because she likes having a good, merry time so it doesn't matter to her what the celebration is about in particular. And I see nothing wrong with her perspective.
The devil is very clever. He disguises himself as fun and frivolity. Not really. Trick or treating has nothing to do with religion, Christian or otherwise. It's just a folk custom, and it's obviously meant to be more light-hearted.OK, but again, do you think this is in harmony with what Jesus taught, as if you play a game on Oct. 31st and ask for goodies from neighbors and others and say, "trick or treat..."
I suggest you research the origin. It's possibly now a folk custom but it's kind of like the false idea of evolution by natural selection. It started with a false idea and the concept evolved to trick or treating. The churches went along with it. Don't want to get too detailed for you -- you can look it up, some information found here:Trick or treating has nothing to do with religion, Christian or otherwise. But again -- trick or treating -- in other words, if the neighbor doesn't treat the reveler, he is tricked.Trick or treating has nothing to do with religion, Christian or otherwise. It's just a folk custom, and it's obviously meant to be more light-hearted.
Yeah, it's to encourage pro-social behavior and community involvement, perhaps. There's not really much tricking going on these days, though. But again -- trick or treating -- in other words, if the neighbor doesn't treat the reveler, he is tricked.
So far I haven't seen reports of littering or destruction this year by trick-or-treaters. But the concept is deluding.Yeah, it's to encourage pro-social behavior and community involvement, perhaps. There's not really much tricking going on these days, though.

The false ' churches ' invented the scare tactic that pain right after death is from God.Source?
I think it's the other way around. Happy people tend to be less religious, so the churches hate that and want people to be miserable. Therefore they invented the scare that fun is of the devil.
