Hey, Trump supporters -- this is what he thinks of you!

At one point, during a recent indoor rally, reporter Debra J. Saunders asked President Trump about the risk of contracting the potentially deadly disease, saying "Aren't you concerned about Oovid though in an enclosed room?" Trump's answer was that he was not concerned, with the revealing comment, 'Because you know why? I'm on a stage and it's very very away. And so I'm not concerned."

When Saunders asked the President, "What about the people here?" Trump replied, 'I'm more concerned about how close you are, to be honest."

There you have it, Trumpies -- your hero has thrown you under the bus.

The smart ones who love their country.
You mean the smart ones who think the virus is a hoax, and don't wear masks at Trump rallies? Those smart ones? Are you one of those smart ones too? You must be an amazing intellect if you count yourself among them. :)

Its funny that strong Democrat supporters used to be just as vehement about both Bush administrations, yet those two were led by much nicer, polished, better educated speakers who didn't grope women. Echo chamber. This.

IMO, not the president's job to babysit me into wearing a mask. I don't get this idea that the president leads anybody. If folks are listening to some politician about their health, maybe they deserve whatever happens.

People really need a iconic individual like a politician to tell them how to live their life? I guess maybe some people do but I hope that is never me.

Why to care, Trump cares about himself and his own pleasure.

So if Biden wins and tells people to jump off a cliff...

I hope they aren't projecting.

The virus is real...The reaction is a hoax. Watching Americans cower in fear behind a cloth mask is nauseating...And embarrassing.
Health experts are not as smart as you?

One important thing we've learned, though, is how many Americans will bend over (metaphorically) and do what ever their government tells them to do...Kind of like Germany in 1933.
Last I checked, the Trump administration is not telling us to wear masks. Yet, the more intelligent ones ignore him and listen to the health experts instead, since the government is not telling us to do something that would help us.

And...Like Germany in 1966, there's a lot of STASI-like rats in our country who will squeal on their neighbors.

Don't think we haven't noticed!

CIAO!
Yes, the virus is real. And the people who died from it are just as real, as are the people who will yet die from it.

I do not consider it "doing whatever my government tells me to do" to put on a face mask in situations where it is impossible to socially distance. Although I am NOT a Christian, as you claim to be, I do not like the idea of being the person who, through my own arrogance, brings a disease to another perrson which kills them. I put on the mask voluntarily, of my own perfect free will, precisely because I care enough about others to do so.

Your notions about what "freedom" means seem somewhat arcane. There are lots of things we are not free to do, for lots of reasons. We are not free to boff our spouses on crowded buses. We are not free to boff children anywhere at all. We are not free to pee on another person's lap on the bus. We are not free to remove the money from someone else's till. And I am not free -- by MY CHOICE -- to unwittingly transmit a potential killer to someone else.

Christians seem less concerned about such niceties, is what I seem to be learning here.
