Humans aren't fruit flies. There is nothing wrong with sex for pleasure rather than procreation. What about infertile people?

At least you're honest about that. I've known some theists who've skirted the issue of infertility by claiming infertile couples can still engage in sex as long as it complies with god's virtue of happening between one man and one woman.

"Hetersexual" sex is done within marriage. All the fun of sex is between husband and wife. The purpose is to have children as god has his children. "Homosexual" sex cannot produce children, so it is seen unuseful. Since homosexuals cannot marry, they will be sinning in two ways one, having sex outside of marriage and two, having "unnatural and non-reproductive" sex.

Roman Catholics say homosexuals are to take a vow of celibacy. I'm not sure if Orthodox feels likewise or they just say it's forbidden and keep relationships as friendships with no physical expression of love.

Back in the Garden of Eden it was for pleasure. Adam and Eve were naked and didn't feel any shame or obligation to reproduce then. What the Church did was react to the fallen condition of the world and came up with an erroneous view of sex.

Christians should realize that because they walk with God they are symbolically back in the Garden with God. And they should live like it. Therefore, enjoy sex.
