my view is I cannot stop them getting married in a secular setting, so long as it is outside of the church and they dont force us to say its ok, they can do what they want its a free country, at least mine is.

I think people believe they are being forced into it for this reason, aka they wanted to be married in a church or such like.

other people are just controling.

So why not give homosexuals the right to love each other, marry and raise kids in a loving home, without them being harrassed by obnoxious, religious, hate-speaking bigots? Surely you don't blame homosexuals for the 40 million divorces you reference. Perhaps if we give them a chance, we can all learn a few things from them around respect, loyalty and love. I don't see homosexuals carrying signs saying "God Hates Heterosexuals".

no its that they say not to hate the gays all while they are hating on the people who say those things its hypocrital, and illogical u should say hating is wrong and then hate on someone in the SAME POST!

Did I say I hated someone in my post? Please explain. Just because I do not want to mate with all heterosexual males does not mean that I hate the heterosexual males that I don't want to mate with.

Hate speech is a term for speech intended to degrade a person or group of people based on their race, gender, age, ethnicity, nationality ...

Nice, now if you're going around calling out the 'Hate Speech' of Pagans and Atheist then you should do the same with your 'kin'. And not just in this thread but any where there is hatred toward Homosexuals and the like. Because if you haven't noticed, there are a few Christians on here the spew 'Hate Speech' on the forum about other the don't believe the way. So why not go focus on them too?

Whatever innapropriate reactions homosexuals have to straight couples can't determine that appropriate actions by straights are innappropriate.
