That's a relief.
It means that Ukraine can never win...they are outnumbered.
Good to know you consider the idea of Ukraine losing a defensive war against an invading aggressor as being a "relief".
It shows your colors.
In any case, as I previously said, wars aren't just a matter of number of troops.
A single elite well equipped soldier will wipe the floor vs 50 untrained fruitcakes.
There's enough examples throughout history where armies that were outnumbered by even as much as 10 to 1 emerged victorious and had the opposing army completely annihilated.
In any case, I feel like Russia has already lost - even if they still "win".
A war that in their opinion should have been over in a matter of days / weeks, is still going on years later. The amount of land they conquered is still relatively low also. Hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers were eliminated and more are being pulled through the meat grinder every single day. Diplomatically they have burned plenty of bridges, which will take them decades to rebuild. They have become an international pariah and that too will take decades to undo. So far, Russia has only lost things and gained nothing.
I mean, they are so desperate that they even need to resort to diplomatic relations with friggin' North Korea. How much more humiliating can it get, I wonder...
