professor Karl Barth, theologian, who teaches Feuerbach because he feels to not expose his student's to counter positions is to show an utter lack of faith in his religion.
Barth was right. Trying not to expose weakness in belief is confidence that there is a fundamental weakness.

People who have tried to convert me are always careful to avoid these, as if they know their position is weak. It becomes obvious that it's more of a game to them.

You're just trolling. I think the joke was funny at first but there's no point in continuing.

...that Newton's gravity will become reinstated is no joke. It will be reinstated such as that objects consist in part of what can be exactly described with Newton's formula. It has always been philosophically very weak to have the laws of nature just only exist in sciencebooks, I have good confidence that this new mathematical approach that has objects consisting of the laws of nature is right.

Remind me never to go anywhere near any bridges you design.

All who are engrossed with the scientific method, in the end they come to ignore simple obvious facts.
I respect the scientific method, but that's not where my passions lie. It's religion that engrosses me.

That's why I spend my time deepening my faith, not making up crap about selfish, thieving rocks debunking gravitational theory.

I'm really sorry Muhammad. Your ideas about science are just not accurate. For example, we are using the internet to have this conversation. The internet could never have been built if science followed your understanding of science.

This is not to say that science can't be improved - scientists are always challenging each others ideas and learning more and more. But you have a huge problem ahead of you if you think you can make science radically different and better than it is. Step one might be for you to build anything at all of complexity without using the lessons that science has taught us...

That you say to appreciate science does not make you any good at it. And I don't have to change science, because scientists themselves are already doing that. Somebody who has an appreciation for simple facts could appreciate the neatness of the idea that objects consist of the laws of nature. It solves a lot of problems, and the indications in applying the concept are that it works out.

And I will never admit that any scientist who does not acknowledge freedom is a reality, is a good scientist. No matter what they produce. You cannot be a good scientist and have missed this rather obvious fact that freedom is a reality, that things in the universe are chosen.

That's the beauty of science, even the weirdest and most antisocial guys get to make contributions as long as others can verify them.

I am greatly saddened that you feel religion to be so stiffeling , however many have a very different oppinion , ..to my mind religion very much helps us to live better and happier lives here and now , it is not just about securing a better afterlife , it is also about sharing .

Tell that to ISIS and other religious fundamentalists of any sect, mainly Christian. If they think what they believe is helping them to live better and happier lives here and now, maybe they should stop sharing if it causes misery to others who don't share their particular mania.
