The left seems to forget the pandemic happened. They never recite his economic numbers prior to the pandemic. And don't forget he wanted to let everyone go back to work again soon after the shutdown. The dem run states wanted to keep everyone at home.

If you look at a graph the numbers through Trump's term were a continuation of when Obama was president for 8 years. Trump failed to meet his 4-5% constant growth. He hit it a few times but it was far lower than heis claim. And all he did to create stimulus was a tax cut that mostly helped the rich. That led to a huge deficit (that MAGAs never mention). Remember when the deficit used to be a thing that republicans hated?
He was eager to end the shutdown because he was running for re-election. His concern for his presidency only caused him to look worse to voters. Of course many have forgotten this four years ago when our lives were worse than today.

The left likes to take something Trump says and make it into something else that sounds crazy, racist or stupid. This is a good example, another example is the "good people on both sides" comment. He never said white supremacists were good people either. Until the media and the left stop doing this why should I take what they say seriously? They have made Trump into a boogeyman to divide people and make them fearful. And it did not work.

You listened so carefully that you missed Trump saying he was going to be a dictator on just day one. Then you missed Sean Hannity trying to give him and out to correct himself, and then you listened to Trump repeat again that he'd be a dictator on day one only. And then you believed that someone who expressed his desire to be a dictator, would only do so for one day. Tell me, which dictator in history was just a dictator on day one and then gave up his power after that?
