How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

Does evolution totally remove God, and spirit from reality.

If yes, how so?

If no, how so?

In theory, no.

In reality? My conclusion, yes.

There are reasons the Bible doesn't line up with it (only "God" reference I can speak for)

Besides that, I didn't come to see evolution as false because of the Bible, but research on natural processes and what we actually observe in nature.

Since all of the scientific evidence supports the theory of evolution and only the theory of evolution what led you to the conclusion that it was wrong?

Everyone picks and chooses what parts of their holy scripture are fact or myth.

Upbringing and education play an essential role. Creationists were taught that version of "science".

But I am not a hypocrite...I was taught to believe in official science...which surely conditioned me.

We disagree vehemently. No evidence I see for it whatsoever.

In short - the basic processes of reproduction. Meiosis and the complexities of how sperm and egg cells are made. New genetic information is never added in reproduction- only deleted or rearranged. No matter how many dogs you breed for how long you'll keep getting dogs.

Saying "add lots of time, it can happen" is air filled. We do not see this occur, ever.

Actually I was taught and believed evolution til a few years ago. I simply researched it openly - instead of just trying to get the answers right in biology class.

That only tells us that you have no clue as to what evidence is and your bias probably keeps you from seeing it. Scientific evidence is rather obvious. One has to be either very dishonest or very ignorant to deny it once they understand the concept.

And you only have an argument from ignorance. A logical fallacy. You don't understand how something could work so you believe that it can't.

And there are several methods for adding new genetic information. It appears that you have been listening to liars and loons. Perhaps you should learn some of the basics.

Why it remove God, spirit etc. ? I don't see anyone saying the same for gravity or magnetism. What's different?

Well the popular science says there is no need to invoke God, or spiritual reality, not only in evolution, but cosmology too.

I tried to leave the question up to the reader to decide.

You have not. Your posts refute your claim.

It is possible that you were not taught properly or well.

Sorry in advance for making this observation...:)
but if science is not your field...maybe it would be fair to acknowledge that scientists know in detail how things work.

This really isnt a debate on whether or not evolution is true or false. That derails my thread

I think humans are capable of learning about whatever they want. Information is at our fingertips now even though false info is as well. It's really small minded/counter intuitive to assume that adults cannot discuss a topic simply because they aren't in that specific profession.

Sorry if I participated. Was just responding to others. I hope my initial response was along the lines of your thinking.
