Yes, that is indeed what it means, and means exactly what I thought it meant. Good to know I understand that word, thanks. Whats your point?
I cannot say for sure is God exists, but I from the arguments I have heard for and against the existence of God, the 'against' arguments win for me.
Im getting bored of this. I don't know how many times Ive come across atheists who have simply deluded their minds into a state of confusion. In one moment they will say they are convinced there is no God, or certain that there is no god, or claim that definetly there is no God. But then when challenged on their faith they will crawl beneath the "Oh, I don't really mean that. I mean, there could be a god. I just dont think there is..."
Great. Good for you. Try not to self-inflict
too much damage to your brain that way.
Answering no to the question 'Still convienced there is no God?' to me sounds like the 'for' arguments have convienced me.
The 'Do you think God exist'-question isn't really a yes/no question, so the poll is bacically broken.
If you don't like the poll then you dont have to answer it. I think its valid for those people that are in either one position or the other. I mean, for those people that chose to participate in the poll, its not as if they can't read, or unaware of what english words mean. Convinced is what it is, as per your definiton. I fell under the second option, which was perfectly valid for me. The poll, as I understood it, and as I expect other people to have understood it, is an option between hard atheism and weak atheism. I chose weak, 13 other people chose hard. So, what do you expect me to think??
