The 10% who own the robots hoard the benefits of their efficiency for themselves, instead of sharing the wealth with the public. This leaves less people employed (those who have skills that have not been automated yet), and the rest are left unemployed.
Eventually, as robotics and computing advances even further, more of those currently employed will join the ranks of the unemployed, leaving even more people in misery.
Exactly. Imagine the disappointment of the 8 year old me when the grown up me realized the truth about human greed.
